Chapter 6
Chapter 6 — Staying at Thanh Ba Host
The phone connected, I explained the situation clearly. Management said it would arrive in ten minutes. Phuong Dung stood still in place, her chest heaving. Suddenly, she seemed to remember something, picked up the phone and dialed a number. "Hello, is it you?" "I'm here on a trip." "Duong Nhan and his mother-in-law are planning to call security to evict me." "They also said, the matter of our family lending money in the past is not considered." I heard the loud, heavy voice of a man on the other end of the line. Phuong Dung looked at me, a cruel glint in her eyes. "Don't you want a third party?" "Okay." "My dad will also come."06 After hanging up the phone, Phuong Dung became quiet. She bent down and picked up each skin care bottle on the ground. When she picked up the bottle of essence that was almost knocked over by Tieu Man, she deliberately sighed. "It's such an expensive thing, if it breaks, my family will be sorry." I didn't answer. I went into the kitchen and poured two glasses of water. One cup was given to Co Tue Cam, one cup was placed on the dining table. Phuong Dung looked at that glass of water. "Won't you pour it for me?" I said: "Pour it yourself." Her eyes darkened. "Are you sorry for even a glass of water now?" I looked at her. "The first day you moved in, green bean soup was brought to you, you complained about the lack of sugar." "The seventh day you were here, you told my mother-in-law to clean the house a bit." "On the fifteenth day, you asked to take my daughter to boarding school." "Phuong Dung, it's not that I regret a glass of water." "I'm sorry for letting you trample on my family's kindness even more." Her lips motionless, speechless. Co Tue Cam walked out of the room, Tieu Man still stayed inside to paint. She took out the painting that Tieu Man had just drawn a moment ago and put it in the photo frame. The movement is not fast, but very careful. Phuong Dung saw that she was not in the painting, so she smiled faintly. "You teach very well." "A family of three, don't always draw guests." Co Tue Cam didn't even look at her. "Tieu Man painted family members." "Guests come to stay for a few days, they won't appear in every painting." This sentence was like a needle, piercing Phuong Dung's pale face. Just as she was about to open her mouth, the doorbell rang. Management and security have arrived. Two people stood outside the door, politely. "Hello, you called just now, right?" I nodded. "It's me." "There's a relative who borrowed to stay temporarily, now there's a fight." "I invited you over here, just to testify." "We won't lift a finger, nor will we curse." The manager looked at the scattered items in the living room, then looked back at Phuong Dung. "Sir, you're about to leave now." right?" Phuong Dung's eyes immediately turned red. "I'm not going." "I'm his cousin, I'm staying at a relative's house, why does he say one word and send me away?" The security guard was a bit awkward. I took out a photo of the red book and household registration book. "The house belongs to me and my husband." "Her name is not in the household registration book, nor does she have a rental contract." "When she arrived, she said she would stay for three days, now it's been half a month." "Today we definitely asked her to leave." The manager nodded. "So we suggest the two sides come to an agreement." "If she refuses to leave, the homeowner can report to the police to handle family disputes." Phuong Dung's face finally changed. She didn't expect that I would actually go step by step. She gritted her teeth and said. "You should call the police." "I'll tell you that you abused your relatives." "I was so hot that I had heat stroke in your house, and you even turned off the air conditioner." Co Tue Cam calmly spoke up. "The air conditioner turned off less than fifteen minutes ago." "The living room temperature is twenty-nine degrees." "If you have heat stroke, call an ambulance now." The manager almost couldn't help but laugh. Phuong Dung was so angry that her face turned red. She made another phone call. This time it was my mother. "Have you heard?" "Duong Nhan asked to call the police
Chase you away." "Your father is about to come." My mother's voice came from the phone. "Duong Nhan, don't get excited." "Your uncle is hot-tempered, wait for him to come and make a fuss." I said: "Mom." "It's not me who's making the noise." "It's her who refuses to leave." My mother's voice trembled. "Respect me, son." "Let him stay for two more days." Co Tue Cam looked at me. I knew, as long as I was satisfied. In the end, this will be the same as before. Everyone took a step back, and in the end, the only one who backed down was me. I took a deep breath. "Mom, I won't give in anymore." The other end of the line was silent. I continued. "You can feel sorry for her divorce, feel sorry for her at home." "But you can't force my daughter to suffer for her." "If you insist on standing by her side today, I can't help it." "But from now on, Tieu Man will never have to hear anyone using their relationship to force her again." My mother didn't say anything more. Phuong Dung glared at me, her eyes like fire. At this moment, heavy footsteps were heard outside the door. Before I could open the door, the doorbell rang again. The manager stepped aside. I opened the door. My uncle stood outside the door, his face as black as the bottom of a pot. Behind him was my aunt.
