After the sister-in-law finished giving her ID card, she gave a few instructions and then left first. I looked at my older brother in front of me who was smiling innocently. I could only bow my head and send a WeChat message to my sister-in-law. I almost couldn't help but laugh out loud. I casually asked a question, only to confirm from his mouth that Ngon Tham is the true crown prince of this company. I really didn't expect that the cold, blinding senior who was so far away from my old school would have such a crazy stubborn person behind him. Just thinking about every sentence and every word he wrote online:

“She's so pitiful.”

“My colleague doesn't deserve her.”

“I want to make them divorce.”

Contrast that with the past two months, my brother has been giving me errands, running errands, and giving me meals like an unjust person. The bad temper in my heart immediately flared up. God gave such an interesting script to me. If I don't coordinate a play, wouldn't it be a waste? I intentionally stayed a few minutes longer than usual, wandered to the tea room and pretended to pour water. Sure enough, Ngon Tham quietly appeared. It's strange to say, I've been here so many times, why have I never noticed you before? I pretended to be completely unaware, my fingertips gently caressing the edge of the thermos cup, lowering my eyes slightly, revealing a slender white neck. The whole person looked quiet and docile, as if he had suffered enough self-pity but still quietly endured. Not long after, he actually proactively walked towards me. The surrounding air felt a little heavier, the feeling of oppression made people's hearts beat faster.

“Your family... leave you alone to clean up?”

He opened his mouth, his voice was very low, carrying a strong, hard-to-dissolve heartache:

“Does he treat you like that every time?”

I raised my eyes to look at him, a faint layer of self-pity appeared in the bottom of my eyes, then quickly tried to suppress it, gently shaking my head:

"It's okay. He's been busy with work lately, so it's okay if I work a little more."

A sentence that directly nailed the image of a poor, patient, understanding wife who was cold to her husband in his heart. Ngon Tham's eyes immediately darkened, his throat rolled violently:

"Being busy is not a reason to take you lightly. Tan Thien, you really don't need to make yourself feel sorry for yourself like that."

My heart jumped strongly. I don't know why, the same two words, my name came out of his mouth so beautifully, both soft and deep, making my ears silently heat up. I bowed my head, the corners of my lips secretly curling up into a smug smile. When he looked up again, the bottom of his eyes were covered with a layer of gentle water, his voice was as light as feathers, both soft and helpless:

“But I have no other choice.”

After leaving the company, as soon as I sat on the bus, my phone immediately showed an update notification for that article. The owner of the article posted new content again, every sentence and every word is so touching and bitter that it cannot be hidden:

“Today I mustered up the courage to talk to her.

It turns out we went to the same school before. It turns out that we could have known each other very early, but fate is truly tantalizing. That evil husband was right in front of her hugging and cuddling someone else. I don't know if she saw it, but I was really heartbroken. If possible, I really want to take her away from that kind of person.” Read this, actually I feel a bit guilty. Is it not good that I tricked people like that? But at the same time, in the family group, my brother's pitiful screams rang out:

"Are you crazy? Anyone can do what they want with this crap company! Suddenly giving me a bunch of work! Wife, please comfort me a little..."

Seeing my brother look so miserable, I immediately laughed out loud with peace of mind. You don't have to think about it, it's definitely some vinegar pot's revenge. Okay. Just let me play a little more. Ngon Tham is about to become a male child, so his moral boundaries are probably not very high. Even if it is eventually exposed, will you forgive me?

After that day, we changed WeChat, and Ngon Tham and I would occasionally chat a few words. At first we were just asking politely, after talking for a while we discovered that the two of us actually had many similar interests. Like the same obscure movies, the same taste of coffee, even indie music playlists or reading habits are very similar. Every time he added a common point, his tone became a little more enthusiastic. I can even imagine the look on the other side of the phone, his eyes brightening little by little. That day, chatting until late, he sent a sentence:

“It turns out we are so similar… It would have been nice if we had met sooner.”

I looked at the message, curled my lips and smiled, but didn't reply. Not long after, the other post was updated again, every sentence and every word was filled with unwillingness and inconsolable regret:

“We have so many common interests, are so compatible, we are clearly a match made in heaven.

Where is her husband based? It's just that meeting her earlier thanks to luck is like catching a fly when a dog yawns. What does he really have that is worthy of her? I'm really not satisfied.” I looked at the screen, my bad temper appeared again, I changed to a secondary account, pretending to be a netizen enthusiastically commented:

"Just thinking about it is useless. You have to show more of your male attractiveness in front of her, so that she knows who is truly suitable for her."

Ngon Tham may have actually overheard.
