Chapter 9
Chapter 9 — The Crown Prince just got married, King Tinh is already waiting outside my room
I was silent. What my father said, every sentence and every word, was not wrong. The struggle between Tinh Vuong and the Crown Prince has long entered a fierce stage. Now that I am openly protected by him, it is like making myself a thorn in the Crown Prince's eye, a nail in his flesh. Sure enough, less than two days later, trouble found itself. That day, it was a rare moment when my mood calmed down a bit, so I took Bich Ngoc to Tran Bao Trai - the largest palace in the capital - intending to choose some new jewelry designs. As soon as he sat down in the elegant room, the second child finished serving tea and cakes, there was a loud noise outside.
"This palace wants to see who is so bold and daring to take advantage of the capital reserved by this palace!"
An arrogant female voice rang out, so arrogant that it did not give anyone the right to refute. The curtains were pulled back sharply. A young girl wearing a gorgeous flower outfit, wearing a pearl on her head, rushed straight in, behind was a group of eunuch palace maids with their heads held high, with an aggressive aura. We recognized her immediately. That is Princess Vinh An, younger sister of the Crown Prince. She has always been close to To Nguyet Nhu, has an arrogant and domineering personality, and has never had even the slightest sympathy towards me. Bich Ngoc was so scared that her face turned pale and she quickly stood up to bow. Princess Vinh An's eyes cut people like a blade, carrying undisguised disgust and jealousy.
“I still thought it was someone, but it turned out to be Miss Tham who was kissed by the Crown Prince.
Why, after climbing on top of the royal uncle, I don't even understand the rules anymore. Even the courtesans of this palace dare to rob?" I put down the tea cup, stood up, without arrogance or flattery, I performed a ceremony.
“Meeting Her Highness the Princess.
This elegant room was reserved by the goddess, and it was not intentional to collide with the princess."
"Book?"
Princess Vinh An sneered, stepped forward, and used her armored finger, full of disgust, to lightly brush over the sample jewelry displayed on the table.
“You really are showing off now.
It's true, with the royal uncle's back, it's naturally no longer the same as before. I just don't know, how long can your deceitful methods be able to deceive the royal uncle?" Her words were harsh to the extreme. Bich Ngoc was so angry that her whole body trembled. And I just calmly looked at her.
“Your Highness, please be careful with your words.
This goddess and Her Royal Highness Tinh Vuong are clean and clear, there is no such thing as the princess said."
"Clean?"
Princess Vinh An seemed to hear the biggest joke in the world and suddenly slammed down on the table, causing the tea cup to vibrate and rattle.
“Dare to hold hands in broad daylight, exchange feelings, and still dare to say they are pure?
Tham Tri Vi, don't give face without knowing how to keep it. Do you think your royal uncle really values a divorced person like you? It's just a temporary novelty, using you as a toy. Wait until you get tired of playing, and your end will probably be even more miserable than now!” The more she spoke, the more agitated she became. She raised her hand and attempted to knock the jewelry tray on the table straight to the ground. Right at the moment the tray was about to tip over, a large hand with clear knuckles firmly pressed against the edge of the tray. At the same time, a bone-chilling voice, carrying sharp killing intent, rang out right in front of the elegant door.
“Your toy?”
Everyone turned their heads in horror. Tieu Dien didn't know when he had been standing there, wearing ink-colored plain clothes, his face calm, but his eyes were like ice that wouldn't melt for ten thousand years, shooting straight at Princess Vinh An. A cold aura radiated around him, causing the temperature in the entire room to seem to drop somewhat. Princess Vinh An's hand stiffened in mid-air, her face instantly turned white as paper, her lips trembled.
“Royal… royal uncle…”
Tieu Dien did not pay attention to her. His eyes turned to me, from top to bottom, assessing me. After confirming that I was okay, he slowly turned back to look at Princess Vinh An, step by step moving forward. Every time he took a step forward, Princess Vinh An would unconsciously take a step back, the panic on her face becoming darker and darker.
"It seems that it's because she's usually too lenient that she makes you forget your identity."
Tieu Dien stopped in front of Princess Vinh An, his voice was not loud, but every word was as sharp as a knife.
“Kneel down.”
Princess Vinh An opened her eyes wide, not daring to believe it.
“Your Majesty, I…”
“Kneel down!”
Tieu Dien's voice suddenly became strict, carrying a pressure that did not allow for argument. Princess Vinh An's legs went soft, with a "thump" sound, she actually straightened up and knelt down on the cold ground. The eunuch maids she brought with her were already so scared that they knelt on the ground, trembling like sifting rice. Tieu Dien looked down at her from above, without a trace of heat in his eyes.
“Sorry Miss Tham.”
