Lam Nhiem saw me, a flash of panic flashed across her face. I didn't bother to answer. Phong Dien frowned slightly. Reach out and hold my shoulder tightly.

“On Kieu, Lam Nhiem is talking to you.”

I pushed his hand away.

“My mother's illness has gotten worse, I don't have time to talk to you now.”

Lam Nhiem blocked my way.

"No way, I just went to visit my aunt an hour ago, she's still very lucid."

She seemed afraid that I wouldn't believe her, so she turned to look at Phong Dien.

“A Dien, you see it too, right?”

Phong Dien nodded.

"Lam Nhiem is telling the truth, On Kieu, don't worry too much, your mother is okay."

In return, perhaps I naively believed the words of the two of them. But now, I coldly withdraw my hand.

“I really don't have free time.”

After saying that, I ran straight towards the emergency room. The surgery is still ongoing. I nervously paced back and forth outside the door. At the nearby counter, there were two nurses chatting.

“This surgery took a long time.”

"That's right, if it was Dr. Phong who did it, it would have been finished a long time ago."

"Who said Dr. Phong had to perform surgery on behalf of Dr. Lam's patient?"

"I really admire Dr. Lam, Dr. Phong has his back for everything. The two of them are like shadows, becoming legends of our hospital."

I stood there. The heart contracted violently. Phong Dien neglected my mother's surgery because of Lam Nhiem. Why? Obviously you are my mother's main doctor. One of the two nurses suddenly noticed me. She quickly winked at the new nurse. Whispered reminder: "Don't say anymore, that seems to be Dr. Phong's girlfriend." The new nurse looked at me confused.

"Huh? I thought Dr. Lam and Dr. Phong were a couple..."

My face turned pale, extremely unsightly. Until the operating room lights turned off. Mom was pushed out.

“The patient is temporarily out of danger, family members will pay more attention tonight.”

I nodded obediently. Follow the nurse and push the hospital bed back to the room. Phong Dien was waiting at the door of the hospital room, wearing everyday clothes, carrying a portion of porridge in his hand, clearly having finished work. With this appearance, it seemed like he realized his mistake and wanted to comfort me.

“Let's eat something first.”

He placed the porridge on the cabinet, opened the lid, and there was a bowl of seafood porridge. I blandly withdrew my gaze and carefully covered my mother with the blanket. Then he gave a sarcastic smile.

"I'm allergic to seafood, I can't eat it."

Phong Dien immediately objected.

"No way, Lam Nhiem said I like shrimp the most."

I burst out laughing.

“The one who likes to eat shrimp is her.”

I'm allergic to seafood. Phong Dien knows. Lam Nhiem also knows. They just don't care. Phong Dien moved his lips, but in the end said nothing. Just quietly threw the bowl of porridge in the trash, took out my phone to order food from outside. I looked at his calm appearance as if nothing happened. The anger in my heart flared up uncontrollably. The words came out with cold sarcasm.

"Phong Dien, did my mother not treat you well? Before she fell ill, she treated you like her own son."

My voice started to get agitated.

"What's the result? Because of Lam Nhiem, you didn't even have time to operate on my mother?"

3 Phong Dien frowned tightly, the atmosphere around him suddenly became quiet, clearly not wanting to hear any more words. any more.

"Isn't your mother still safe and sound now? Lam Nhiem's patient is very special, if anything goes wrong, her medical career will be over."

“She's young, not like my mother.”

Phong Dien's blurted words. Made my breathing stop. His eyes were filled with disbelief.

“Are you saying my mother deserves to die at this age?”

Phong Dien still looks rational.
