Chapter 4
Chapter 4 — The night before the marriage registration day, my fiance returned my household registration book
He called the travel agency in Yunnan to ask for my return date. The staff there replied that Ms. Tong had never come to check in to receive the group. That's when he really panicked. When you call me, the number no longer exists. I sent a WeChat message and discovered that I had blocked him. He immediately ran to my parents' house. As soon as I entered the door, he frantically asked where I was. My father picked up the broom, without saying a word, he knocked him out.
"You unscrupulous person! What does it have to do with you where my daughter goes?"
“If you want to find it, go find your good sister!”
Chu Trach was kicked out of the residential area, sitting in the car with a blank mind. After that, he went to the hospital where I used to work and asked the head nurse about my whereabouts. The head nurse rolled her eyes at him.
"Doctor Tong has gone to Xinjiang for support. Don't you know?"
Chu Trach felt like he was struck by lightning.
"Reinforce Xinjiang? When did she leave?"
"Half a month ago. It was the next day, after the day you two planned to register your marriage."
Chu Trach staggered out of the hospital. Only then did he understand. That night, what I packed was not my luggage to go to Yunnan. It's the luggage to leave his life forever. After many times asking someone to ask, he finally found the phone number of the department where I was working. At that time, I was writing a medical record when a nurse called.
"Doctor Tong, I got a call looking for you. They said it was your fiance."
I frowned slightly, stood up and picked up the receiver.
"Tong Tinh! Are you crazy?"
Chu Trach's screams immediately rang out from the other end of the line.
"Who let you cancel the wedding? Who let you run to Xinjiang?"
“Do you know that I've been looking for you like crazy for the past half month?”
I calmly held the receiver a little further away.
“What are you looking for me for?”
“Is Lam Dao dead?”
The other end of the line suddenly heard a deep breath.
“Tong Tinh, how can you say such cruel words?”
“Dao Dao is still taking medicine, can you not provoke her?”
I laughed coldly.
“Chu Trach, if you have a problem with your mind, go fix it.”
“You were the one who said you wanted to postpone your marriage registration to be with her.”
“Now that I've done it for you two, why are you still mad?”
Chu Trach took a deep breath and his voice calmed down.
“Jing Jing, I know you're still angry.”
“But you use the matter of going to support Xinjiang to force me to get married, isn't that too childish?”
“Is a place like Xinjiang a place where you can live?”
"Quickly apply to return. I will immediately take you to register your marriage."
Until now, he still thinks I'm just playing tricks on him. Still think I can't live without him.
“Chu Trach, we broke up.”
I calmly told the truth.
"The wedding has been cancelled, the wedding banquet has been paid for. My brother's things are all thrown away. From now on, everyone will go their separate ways."
At that moment, Lam Dao's weak voice rang out from the other end of the phone.
"Doctor Tong, don't be angry with A Trach anymore."
"It's all my fault. I shouldn't have gotten sick at that time."
"Go back. I promise I won't look for A Trach again in the future."
As she spoke, she deliberately coughed twice. Chu Trach immediately panicked.
“Dao Dao, stop talking, be careful of choking on the wind.”
Hearing that, I just felt nauseous.
“Don't do any more intimate love scenes at my place.”
"Wish two vile men and vile women, locked together for life."
Having finished speaking, I hung up immediately. Conveniently put that phone number on the hospital's block list. As soon as I put down the stethoscope, the Emergency Department alarm immediately rang. On the highway outside the district, a series of accidents just occurred. A passenger car overturned. The casualties were extremely serious. I immediately got in the ambulance and rushed straight to the scene. Everywhere was a scene of chaos. The cries for help, the cries, the groans of pain continued endlessly. Carrying an emergency bag, I continuously weaved between deformed cars to save people. At that moment, an overturned truck suddenly tilted again, rushing straight towards me.
“Be careful!”
A tall figure rushed forward and hugged me tightly. The sound of a violent collision echoed in my ears. Waiting for the dust to gradually clear, I opened my eyes. The person shielding me is Giang Ky. His arm was cut by a piece of iron and the blood flowed continuously.
“Are you okay?”
He frowned slightly and asked. I quickly shook my head and immediately took out the gauze from the first aid bag and bandaged him.
“You are injured.”
“It's just a small wound, it's okay.”
After bandaging, he immediately stood up and continued to rush in to save other victims. The rescue that day lasted until late at night. Giang Ky and I stood side by side, wresting more than a dozen lives from the hands of death.
