Chapter 2
Chapter 2 — The One Who Gets His Wish
"I'm not a timid person. It's rare today that everyone gets together happily. How about having a drink to join in the fun?"
Ha Hien Nhien poured more than half of the wine in her glass into her empty glass.
“I drank too much today, I will feel uncomfortable at night.”
This statement makes everyone tease. Then, under everyone's expectant eyes, the two of them seemed to be completing some ritual, solemnly drinking wine.
“Wow, I got my wish, I got my wish!”
“How about we go directly to the wedding room tonight, ha ha…”
Tham Vi looked at Ha Hien Nhien, lowered her eyes, her voice was somewhat lost:
"Okay, everyone must joke in moderation. Currently, Mr. Hien has a girlfriend."
Ly Hue snorted.
"It's just girlfriends. After getting married, you can even divorce. Isn't breaking up just a word?"
Someone said in a low voice:
“Before that, I thought I saw Ngu Phon posting a photo of her at a wedding dress shop to her friends circle…”
Tham Vi's eye sockets immediately turned red, she looked at Ha Hien Nhien whose face was changing.
“You want to marry her already?”
In that moment, his expression was extremely panicked. Even when the company was in bankruptcy crisis, I had never seen him appear so flustered.
“No, no, just casually mentioning the wedding, she thought it was true.”
I turned off the video, and after taking a shower, I felt colder and colder. I ordered cold medicine and took it. About to fall asleep, Ha Hien Nhien sent a text message:
"I'm not going back to the hotel tonight. Everyone plans to play all night. Tomorrow morning, we'll go directly to nearby Lien Hoa Mountain to watch the sunrise."
"Oh right, the wedding photography side should temporarily cancel first. Now that the company is in a key stage of development, I want to wait a few more years."
The next day, the group on the computer had many new messages. Three o'clock in the morning.
“@Ha Hien Nhien, don't be shy anymore, let's finish the wedding thing, tomorrow we will open the door again for you two.”
The photo shows the hotel room door being forcibly blocked from the outside.
“Ha Hien Nhien: Don't make trouble anymore, it's not good for your daughter.”
“Tham Vi: I'm not that old-fashioned.”
“@Ha Hien Nhien, look, you are not as generous as our eldest lady Tham.”
Five o'clock in the morning.
“@Ha Hien Nhien, report your achievements.”
“Tham Vi: He is embarrassed.”
Below is the silhouette of Ha Hien Nhien wrapped in a bathrobe, from neck to ears red. People frantically sent all kinds of stickers congratulating the ritual in accordance with everyone's expectations. I inhaled with a not very clear nose. Pack up your luggage and check out. On the way to the airport, the phone rang.
“Tieu Ngu, send me flight information.”

While waiting to board the plane, I entrusted a lawyer to handle the share transfer. Three hours later, the plane landed. Turning off airplane mode, Ha Hien Nhien sent me three messages:
“Lunch at Lan Dinh Son Trang, I'll take the bus over here.”
"What's wrong? You haven't responded to messages since last night. Are you still angry?"
"Well, you're naturally sensitive, you always have nothing to say to everyone. I don't have time to take care of you either, just order your own food."
Maybe because my head is a bit dizzy, the pain in my chest doesn't feel too obvious anymore. But Tham Vi still sent me a message:
"Aren't you going to come over and have dinner with me? You pay attention What happened at the wedding yesterday?"
“Sorry, I've gotten used to this type of social etiquette in the past few years abroad. I just don't want to turn people off. If you want to blame me, blame me, don't blame him."
I didn't pay attention and went to the scheduled pick-up gate. The man in the collared coat stood walking towards me. After eight years of not seeing him, he hasn't changed much. The moment Van Tu Chi received my suitcase, his face changed slightly.
“Why is your face so poor?”
A warm breath was placed on my forehead.
“I have a fever!”
I haven't even opened my mouth yet. He picked me up and ran towards the parking lot.
“Go to the hospital first!”
After a busy time at the hospital, I was forced to be hospitalized for intravenous fluids. Van Tu Chi sat next to me, looked at my pale face, hesitated a few times and finally couldn't help but ask:
“Does he take care of you like that?”
I bowed my head slightly, not knowing how to answer. The phone rang, seeing the caller's name, he asked me:
“Do you hear that?”
I nodded. Van Tu Chi slid the answer button and brought the phone to my ear.
“Why did you check out without telling me?”
Opposite came Ha Hien Nhien's slightly impatient voice.
“I didn't reply to my messages, Vi Vi looked for me and I didn't pay attention to them. What crime did she commit against you?
“Do you know everyone is very worried about you?”
I looked at the IV tube on the back of my hand slightly refluxing blood, and slowly opened my mouth:
“Really? Who cares about you so much?
Ha Hien Nhien paused, her tone was firm:
“I'm angry. Just because of a small matter. No one felt there was a problem, but it was my turn to not be able to get over it. I don't blame people for saying you're not sociable, it's always like that, I'm also very tired..."
“Ha Hien Nhien, your habit of hanging WeChat on your computer is not very good.”
