Chapter 7
Chapter 7 — The Prince Regent's Gossip Has Escaped
"If you dare to touch her even a hair, today this king will take the entire Ta family and bury it with him!"
Ta Van Thu looked at the tip of the sword close to his neck and laughed coldly.
"The royal family is so majestic. Because of a woman, even the main wife wants to kill her.
"If this story spreads back to the capital, I wonder if those officials will use their pens to poke bloody holes in the Royal Family?"
“This king doesn't care!”
Tieu Hanh's eyes were so red that they were about to bleed. He didn't even look at Ta Van Thu. His eyes were tightly glued to his body. His voice also revealed a hint of panic that was hard to detect.
“Van Van, are you okay? Did she hurt you?”
I still sit in the same place, even my posture has not changed. I lifted the slightly cooled cup of raw tea and gently blew away the layer of foam floating on top.
“The king came at just the right time.”
I raised my eyes, smiling but not smiling at him.
“I was just discussing with the Princess how to equally divide the power of this Regent Royal Palace.”
Tieu Hanh was stunned, the long sword in his hand trembled slightly.
“What did she say?”
“I said, I want half of the power of the Royal Family; The power of the Ta family, the Princess wants half."
I put down the tea cup, stood up, and slowly walked towards Tieu Hanh. I stretched out my white finger, gently grasped the cold blade, and slowly moved it from Ta Van Thu's throat.
“Tieu Hanh, do you think you have set up a chess game, wanting to uproot the Ta family, then logically keep me by your side, letting me become a decoration for your power?”
I looked at him, my eyes filled with mockery.
“Unfortunately, you miscalculated something.”
“What did I miscalculate?”
Tieu Hanh's voice was so hoarse that it was hard to hear, his heart felt like it was being tightly squeezed by an invisible hand to the point of suffocation.
"Where you miscalculated is that I am not a canary that you keep in a cage, and Ta Van Thu is not a piece of fish meat that you can carve at will on the chopping board."
I took a step back, standing on the same level next to Ta Van Thu.
“We were never your pawns.
“We are all chess players.”
Tieu Hanh looked at the two completely different women in front of him, but at this moment they were on the opposite side of him at the same time, only feeling that his mind was spinning. The scheming martial arts that he was always proud of, the profound feelings that he considered to be deeply in love, in their eyes were actually just a joke. Tieu Hanh staggered back a step, the defense line under his eyes completely collapsed.
"What exactly do you want to forgive me? Because of you, I don't even need half a country..."
“I want you to lose your reputation.”
I directly interrupted him.
"I want you to fall from that lofty Regent throne and experience the feeling of being trampled under someone else's feet."
“I want you to stand by and watch as everything you worked so hard to build is destroyed at the hands of two women.”
Tieu Hanh seemed to be struck by lightning, his whole body stiffened and stood in place, his face as white as paper.
“She… she is so cruel…”
“Cruel?”
I laughed, my smile was as light as the passing clouds and wind.
“Compared to assertiveness That year when the Royal Family used my father's life to force me to take abortion pills, these tricks of mine were nothing more than quid pro quo."
“The Holy Spirit is coming! Regent Vuong Tieu Hanh colluded with factions and sought his own interests, now he is stripped of his title and immediately escorted to prison!
The cold proclamation echoed throughout the temporary palace in Giang Nam, mixed with the murderous sound of armor colliding outside the palace, instantly tearing apart the quiet night. Tieu Hanh did not resist at all. He didn't even bother to glance at the group of Musketeers who were rushing to hold him tightly, just looked closely at the two women standing at the palace door. In Ta Van Thu's hand, he was leisurely spinning the tiger talisman he had just taken off his waist, the corners of his lips curling up into a sarcastic smile.
“Your Majesty, it seems that the land of Giang Nam is really very pleasing to the people, to the point that it makes you reluctant to leave.”
