The wedding day finally arrived, a clear late autumn morning, golden sunlight gently spread across the small suburban garden where the ceremony was held. Strings of pure white chrysanthemums were skillfully woven along the walkway, combined with small traditional lanterns, all prepared by Thao Vy herself and her close friends and colleagues over the past few days.

The guests arrived one after another - both families, Minh Duc, Mr. Sau, Mr. Hai, and close colleagues from the forensic examination center and the serious crime investigation team. A cozy, intimate atmosphere enveloped the small garden, mixed with the bustling laughter of guests eagerly waiting for the ceremony to officially begin.

When the wedding music played, Thao Vy held the arm of a close cousin - who had agreed to stand in for her father on this important day - and walked slowly step by step down the aisle filled with flower petals, towards Bao Nam who was waiting under the flower dome made of the flowers she loved most.

"I'm so proud of you, Thao Vy," her uncle whispered in her ear as the two approached the altar, his voice choked with emotion. "Mr. Hung will definitely be very proud to see you today."

"Thank you, uncle," Thao Vy replied, holding her uncle's hand tightly, trying to hold back the tears of happiness that were about to flow.

Arriving in front of the ceremony, the uncle gave the bride's hand to Bao Nam. The two men's eyes exchanged a deep trust and respect. Bao Nam held Thao Vy's hand, his eyes filled with love and respect that could not be expressed in words.

"You're so beautiful," he whispered, his voice shaking with emotion.

"Thank you," Thao Vy replied, smiling brightly, tears of happiness rolling down her cheeks, her hand gently touching the necklace her mother gave her as a reminder of her father's spiritual presence in this sacred moment.

The ceremony took place in a cozy, simple but meaningful atmosphere. When it came to exchanging vows, Bao Nam held Thao Vy's hand tightly, his eyes never leaving her for even a moment.

"Thao Vy," he said, his voice rang out clearly, filled with emotion in front of everyone, "I swear to always be by your side, sharing all the joys, sorrows, and difficulties in life. I swear to cherish and protect you and the values you pursue, until the end of this life."

"Mr. Bao Nam," Thao Vy replied, her voice also trembling with emotion, "I swear to always trust and accompany you on every journey ahead, building a happy family, full of love, just like how we overcame all challenges together to find each other."

When the two exchanged wedding rings, applause and cheers of congratulations rang out throughout the garden. Minh Duc, standing next to Mr. Sau and Mr. Hai in the guest row, couldn't hold back his tears of happiness, while Mrs. Hoa leaned her head on a relative's shoulder, both looking at the bride and groom with the most proud and satisfied eyes.

After the official ceremony, the reception took place warmly under the gradually falling sunset, bustling laughter and chatter echoed throughout the small garden. During the congratulatory speech, Minh Duc stepped up, holding a glass of juice, his voice mixed with a bit of humor mixed with sincere emotion.

"I'm the one who was witnessed Ms. Vy and Mr. Nam from the first days of cooperating in the investigation, when they both kept a very serious professional distance," he said, making all the guests laugh. "But I can confirm, from the first look they laid eyes on each other at the crime scene, I knew that this would not be simply a colleague relationship. Congratulations to you two, may your love always be as strong as the perseverance you both showed throughout the most difficult case we have ever faced."

Next, Mr. Hai also stood up to speak, his voice filled with emotion. "As one of the lucky people to witness Ms. Vy's entire courageous journey, I want to wish her, and Mr. Nam, a married life full of happiness and peace, worthy of everything the two of them have experienced and devoted."

Bao Nam, when it was his turn, held Thao Vy's hand tightly, his voice was warm but full of sincerity. "I'm not good at saying beautiful words, but I want everyone here to know that Thao Vy is not only the wife I love, but also the person who taught me to understand more deeply the true meaning of perseverance and integrity. Thank you everyone for coming to celebrate with us today."

The party continued with dancing and melodious music resounding in the sparkling garden lights. Thao Vy and Bao Nam stepped onto the dance floor for the first time as husband and wife, their eyes never leaving each other, as if the whole world around them had disappeared, leaving only this moment of complete happiness.

"Do you remember the first time we danced together?" Bao Nam asked, gently turning around with her to the music.

"Do you remember," Thao Vy replied, smiling, "we've never really danced together before, this is the first time."

"Well then, this will be the most memorable memory," Bao Nam said, pulling her closer, his eyes filled with love. "From this moment on, we will have so many new memories to build together and cherish together."

Mrs. Hoa, watching from afar, could not hide her tears of happiness as she looked at her daughter radiantly and happily in the arms of her newlywed husband. She remembered the image of the sixteen-year-old girl sobbing at the bad news of her father's death, and now, seeing her daughter grown up, strong, and finding perfect happiness, her heart was filled with pride that could not be expressed in words.

Mr. Sau and Mr. Hai also stood next to each other, raising their glasses to congratulate the bride and groom. "This is such a beautiful ending to a story full of hardships," Mr. Hai said, his voice filled with emotion.

"That's right," Mr. Sau nodded in agreement, "and I believe, this love story will continue to write many more beautiful chapters in the future."

As the party gradually got late, Thao Vy stood in the middle of the garden, looking around at the dear faces that had accompanied her throughout the long and meaningful journey - family, friends, colleagues, and her newlywed husband standing next to her, holding her hand tightly. She smiled slightly, fully feeling the complete happiness she had found after everything she had gone through, from the painful and lost days of the age of sixteen, to this brilliant moment of the age of twenty-eight.

Bao Nam put his arm around his wife's shoulders, and they both looked up at the sparkling night sky starlight. "Thank you," he whispered, "for giving me the opportunity to be a part of your life story, a story full of strength and love."

"Thank you," Thao Vy replied, leaning her head on her husband's shoulder, "for always being there, accompanying me through every challenge, to write together a beautiful, worthy ending to the long journey we have gone through together."

At the end of the party, when the guests gradually left, only close family and the closest group of friends remained to clean up, Thao Vy stood in the middle of the now quieter garden, the lantern light still shimmering under the starry night sky. She looked back at the entire journey she had gone through — from a sixteen-year-old girl bewildered by her father's sudden death, to the confident, happy woman standing here today, surrounded by the loving arms of her family and friends.

Mrs. Hoa came closer, took her daughter's arm, and they both looked out at the garden where the small lantern was shimmering in the night. "I never thought I would see this day," she said, her voice still filled with emotion. "But now, seeing you happy like this, I know that all the past suffering was worth it."

"I think so too, mom," Thao Vy replied, resting her head on her mother's shoulder in a rare moment of peace. The last night of autumn gradually fell completely, the stars began to dot the sky, witnessing the complete happiness of a family that had overcome so many challenges together to find true peace.

From afar, Bao Nam looked at the mother and daughter standing together, his eyes filled with warmth. He stepped closer, putting his arm around the shoulders of both of the most important women in his life from now on. "I promise to always take care of and protect Thao Vy, and mother too," he told Mrs. Hoa, his voice sincere.

"I believe in you," Mrs. Hoa replied, smiling happily, looking at the young couple with eyes full of satisfaction and pride at the bright future waiting for the whole family ahead.
