Chapter 4
Chapter 4 — Youth Returns to You
I zipped up my briefcase and pulled out the confirmation form. The paper is spread out in front of the homeroom teacher. Aspiration one, Department of Literature, Bac Thanh University. The homeroom teacher saw clearly, his eyes lit up: "This is what you should fill out." Luc Tri suddenly grabbed it. The paper was wrinkled by him. "On Nam Chi, did you really do it?" "Yes." "I'm gone, what should Niem Niem do?" This question made the entire hallway quiet. I looked up at him: "She has you." Luc Tri seemed choked. Hua Niem Niem's eyes immediately turned red: "Chi Chi, do you still blame me? I don't intend to compete with you, I'm just afraid of having to stay in the city alone." The homeroom teacher coldly asked: "Hua Niem Niem, your achievements are enough to fill which school, don't you know clearly?" Hua Niem Niem's face turned pale. Luc Tri immediately stood in front of her: "Miss, what you say is too hurtful to others." The homeroom teacher took out the confirmation form from his hand and gave it to me: "Tomorrow the system will officially open, just fill in this, don't let others influence you anymore." Luc Tri laughed, but the smile did not reach his eyes. "On Nam Chi, if you take this step today, don't regret it." Hua Niem Niem said in a low voice: "Mr. Tri, don't be like that, Chi Chi will only be led astray by Tham Nghien Chu." I don't know when Tham Nghien Chu stood at the beginning of the hallway. He held my jacket in his hand and calmly said: "She got six hundred and seventy-nine points on the exam, Bac Thanh University will definitely pass. The person who can lead her astray has never been me." The last bit of dignity on Luc Tri's face shattered. He rushed forward and grabbed Tham Nghien Chu's collar. "Say that again?" The homeroom teacher stopped him in a stern voice. The boys in the private room quickly intervened. During the chaos, Hua Niem Niem suddenly shouted: "My hand!" Luc Tri immediately let go of Tham Nghien Chu and turned around to look at her. The back of her hand was rubbed with a small red patch by the corner of the wall. Luc Tri lifted her hand, all his anger vented on me: "On Nam Chi, are you satisfied? Do you have to force Niem Niem to become like this?" At the end of the hallway, the waiter pushed the food cart past, the sound of wheels slowly rolling away. I looked at his tense, pale face and suddenly felt no pain anymore. "Luc Tri." He raised his head. "Break up." Those three words fell, as if he didn't understand. A few seconds later, he stood up, his eyes red and scary. "I'll say it again." I took the dolphin bracelet out of his pocket and placed it on the lid of the trash can next to me. "Farewell." Hua Niem Niem's crying stopped a bit. Luc Tri suddenly laughed, laughing until his chest was heaving. "Okay, On Nam Chi, don't come back and beg me." I took the wish list back, turned and walked towards the stairs. Behind him, Luc Tri's voice said: "If you leave today, tomorrow I will take Niem Niem to the beach to make up for the trip. Don't you dare get in my car again." The stairway door was pushed open. Tham Nghien Chu gave me his jacket. I don't turn around. Before the door closed, I heard Hua Niem Niem gently say: "Brother Tri, Chi Chi is just angry, he likes you so much, he will definitely come back." Luc Tri gritted his teeth: "Then let her kneel and come back." On the official day of filling out the application form, the sun was very hot. There was a long line outside the school's computer lab, and the hallway was filled with the noise of graduating students. Luc Tri stood next to the window, holding two cups of milk tea in his hands. One cup is the jasmine green milk tea I usually drink, half iced. The remaining glass was plugged with a pink straw and given to Hua Niem Niem. Seeing me, he put the glass of jasmine milk tea on the table. "Take it." His voice was stiff, as if granting grace for one time reconciliation. Hua Niem Niem bowed her head and stirred her straw: "Chi Chi, Mr. Tri waited in line for a long time to buy it, don't be angry."
with him too.” The curious eyes of the surrounding classmates gathered. Luc Tri lowered his voice: "It's as if you never heard what I said yesterday. If you change your wish to return to the city, we'll just let it go." I walked around the milk tea cup and walked towards the engine room door. He raised his hand to stop me. "On Nam Chi, don't force me to lose face here." The computer room teacher frowned: "You're still waiting in the back, don't block the door." I said: "Please stay away." Luc Tri stared at me, a bit of panic flashed in his eyes, but was quickly overshadowed by anger. "Do you feel that Tham Nghien Chu is in Bac Thanh, so someone has your back?" Tham Nghien Chu came from the back row, his voice steady: "I signed up for Southern University, not in Bac Thanh." Luc Tri was stunned. Hua Niem Niem was also stunned. There was no escape as he imagined, no betrayal as he assumed. It's just me, wanting to go where I should have gone. In the computer room, a phone call rang out. I walked in and sat in front of the computer. Log in, check, fill in your request, submit. The moment the confirmation message appeared, Luc Tri rushed to the outside glass door, his face terrifyingly pale. He banged on the glass: "On Nam Chi, you go first, let's talk!" The teacher yelled at him not to disturb the order. I showed the phone screen to the teacher to check.
