Chapter 20
Chapter 20 — 6.6 The Ultimate Bad Thing Of A Marriage
Tham Nghien pushed her hand away.
"She never agreed."
Trieu Que Phuong's eyes widened.
"Are you crazy?"
"What should my sister do if I accept all that?"
Tham Nghien turned to look at Tham Tinh. The voice was strangely calm.
"If it's spent, you have to pay it back."
Tham Tinh bowed her head and burst into tears. Don't dare say another word. The judge turned to me and asked:
"Does the plaintiff accept mediation or not?"
"I do not accept verbal mediation."
"Debt repayment plan."
"Violation clause."
"Compensation level."
"Everything must be clearly stated in legal documents."
Trieu Que Phuong was about to open his mouth to curse. But just met the eyes of the judicial police. Immediately swallow those words back. After the trial ended. To Niem stopped me in the hallway.
"You already won."
"Why do you still have to force me to the point where I can't raise my head anymore?"
I looked at her.
"Because you still haven't compensated."
To Niem gritted his teeth.
"I have no money."
"Then pay slowly."
Her eyes were filled with resentment.
"Are you any different from me?"
"Now you are also forcing others into a corner."
I calmly replied:
"It's different."
"I didn't steal your things."
"I won't force you to live with my identity."
Right at that moment. Tham Nghien stepped forward. Standing between me and To Niem.
"Stop causing trouble."
To Niem looked at him. Show a cold smile.
"Do you now know how to be human?"
"Unfortunate."
"It's late."
Tham Nghien's face turned pale.
"It's late."
After To Niem left. Tham Nghien looked at me.
"Waiting for the official ruling to take effect."
"I will pay on time."
I nodded. He said again:
"My mother might still come to bother you."
"I will stop her."
"If you can't stop it."
"Then call the police."
Tham Nghien burst out laughing bitterly.
"Before, I always felt like you were too tough."
"Now I understand."
"My weakest parts..."
"You have trampled everything."
I don't answer. Right at that moment. From the elevator side. Hua Dao waved loudly.
"There's a customer in the store who placed a large order!"
I turned and walked towards her. Behind the back. Tham Nghien's voice was very soft.
"Goodbye."
I don't turn around. Just answer one sentence.
"Goodbye."
That large order was brought by Mrs. Co. She placed a pastel enamel tea cup on the desk. Broken into seven pieces.
"This is something my husband's grandmother left behind."
"I looked for some people."
"Everyone says it can't be fixed."
While pouring tea. Hua Dao leaned close to my ear. Ask in a low voice:
"She didn't come to be Co Trac's matchmaker, did she?"
I glanced at her. Hua Dao immediately closed his mouth. Mrs. Co heard it.
"I just came today for the cup of tea."
"Co Trac is not that lucky."
"I also don't like forcing fate."
I carefully picked up each piece of porcelain to look at it.
"It can be fixed."
"But it takes time."
"Twenty days."
"The wages are according to your rules."
Mrs. Co nodded. Then suddenly said:
"Yesterday, Tham Tinh came to the front door of the Co family and knelt down."
"Says she's pregnant."
Hua Dao almost spilled her cup of tea.
"Is it real or fake?"
Mrs. Co calmly replied:
"Pregnancy examination certificate is purchased."
"Co Trac has reported to the police."
My hand stopped for a moment. Hua Dao immediately scolded:
"It's true that I haven't shed a tear since I've seen the coffin."
Mrs. Co took a sip of tea.
"Before being taken away."
"He also said it was all forced by you."
I nodded.
"She's used to it."
Mrs. Co sighed softly.
"There are people."
"I've never seen stolen things in hot hands."
"They just feel like other people shouldn't expose it."
After Mrs. Co left. I started to restore the tea cup. By eight o'clock in the evening. The phone suddenly rang. It's Tham Nghien. I picked up the phone. His voice sounded very tired.
"Tham Tinh has been detained."
"Your mother is at home crying."
"Always come to my store to cause trouble."
"I took her phone."
I calmly replied:
"You don't need to report to me."
"I know."
He paused for a few seconds. Then continued:
"I just wanted to tell you."
"I won't let her bother you anymore."
But he still didn't hang up the phone. A moment later. He said hoarsely:
"I found a photo in an old drawer today."
"In the photo."
"I'm sitting on the balcony fixing Van Dao Quan's plate."
"And you fell asleep next to me."
"I always thought before."
"I'm just having some free time playing with things."
I looked at the pieces of porcelain on the table.
"It's over."
The other side was silent for a while. Right at that moment. The sound of Trieu Que Phuong's crying came from the phone.
"Tham Nghien!"
"Because of that woman, you dare to lock up your mother?"
Tham Nghien lowered his voice:
"I'll hang up first."
The call ended. Hua Dao sat next to him. While munching on an apple, he looked at me. After a while, I asked:
"Do you regret it?"
I raised my head.
"Regret what?"
"All my youth depends on someone who doesn't see me."
I put down the last piece of porcelain. The yellow light covers the cracks that have been reassembled. Smiling softly.
"If it never breaks."
"How do you know what's worth keeping?"
