Chapter 8
Chapter 8 — 6.6 The Ultimate Bad Thing Of A Marriage
There was only one name on it. I stared at those three words. I haven't heard this name for a long time. Tham Nghien's ex-lover from college. Then went abroad to study ceramics. Three years ago, I returned home. Currently, she is a famous "talented woman" in the Van Chau ceramics world. The same woman that Tham Nghien mentioned many times in front of me.
"I understand better than you."
"More elegant than you."
"It's worth giving people more peace of mind than me."
Hua Dao's face immediately became unsightly.
"Does she still have the face to return?"
"That ancient broken bowl was obviously restored by you."
"Yet she took it to an exhibition and received an award."
I put the card in my pocket. Calm voice.
"She dared to take it."
"Then let her have it."
Hua Dao was impatient.
"Are you still holding back?"
I opened the car door.
"Not holding back."
"It's just..."
"The account needs to be paid too much."
"It's better to calculate it once and for all."
When returning to the store. On the door was a dazzling red piece of paper. Above were scribbled the following words:
"Wicked daughter-in-law, she saw death and couldn't save her."
Glue smeared all over the glass. Hua Dao angrily snatched the paper down.
"Did Trieu Que Phuong do it?"
I don't answer. Just push the door and step in. The inside had been ransacked. The cash register drawer was wide open. Restoration tools are scattered everywhere. The antique bowls waiting to be repaired were even more smashed than before. Hua Dao squatted down to look. The tone of scolding also changed.
"These beasts..."
I went into the inner room. The iron box containing the restoration drawings is no longer there. Hua Dao immediately turned around.
"Lost what?"
"The set of drawings the master left behind."
Her expression changed instantly.
"It contains all of your restoration records over the years."
"Could To Niem really aim for that thing?"
Right at that moment. There was the sound of high heels outside the door. To Niem appeared. The cream-colored suit fits well. Delicate high bun hair. Behind her is Tham Tinh. Eyes still red from crying. But the corners of his lips were full of satisfaction.
"Why is your store so messy?"
"Didn't offend anyone?"
To Niem walked in. His eyes glanced at the broken ceramic pieces on the floor. Finally stopped on my face.
"Long time no see."
I looked straight at her.
"Give it back here."
To Niem smiled softly.
"What stuff?"
"Iron box."
Tham Tinh immediately interjected.
"Don't slander anyone you meet."
"Ms. To is now a specially invited restoration artist of the Van Tu Exhibition."
"Do you think people want the things in your tattered store?"
To Niem sighed softly.
"Tham Nghiem is sick."
"If you don't take care of him, that's fine."
"Still running around causing trouble."
"It's been so many years and I still don't understand."
Hua Dao immediately pointed straight at her face.
"Stop being fake."
"They're already married."
"If you open your mouth, you understand or don't understand."
"Who do you think you are?"
To Niem was not angry at all.
"I'm his friend."
"Also the person he trusted the most."
I laughed.
"So you came here today to demand justice for him?"
To Niem took out a file of documents from his bag. Place on the counter.
"Tham Nghiem authorized me to handle the divorce."
"Sign your name."
"About 900,000 yuan, he won't prosecute you for damaging family feelings."
Hua Dao was so angry that he burst out laughing.
"He secretly transferred money."
"Still present nose to pursue others?"
To Niem looked at me. His eyes were full of pity.
"Don't make yourself too unsightly."
"That bit of skill of yours..."
"After leaving the Tham family, can you support yourself?"
I looked at the pen in her hand.
"Tham Nghien told you to come?"
"That's right."
"What's his condition?"
To Niem paused slightly.
"Now you care."
"Don't you think it's late?"
I laughed.
"I just want to know."
"The pain was so bad that I had to go to the hospital."
"And yet he still has the power to call his ex-lover to force his wife to sign a divorce petition."
"It doesn't seem too serious."
Tham Tinh was so angry that he jumped up.
"Why is your mouth so poisonous?"
I walked to the wall. Turn on the surveillance camera screen. The frame immediately appeared. Midnight last night. Tham Tinh used the key to open the door. Trieu Que Phuong followed behind. The two searched the entire store. To Niem does not appear in the video. But just in time, Tham Tinh left holding an iron box. Her phone screen lit up. The call notes line appears clearly.
"Ms. To Niem."
Hua Dao immediately stood up.
"Report the police."
All the smug expression on Tham Tinh's face disappeared completely. To Niem looked at the video. Fingers tightening the handle of the bag.
"Think carefully."
"If this makes a big deal out of it."
"Tham Nghien's reputation is also lost."
I looked at her. The corners of his lips curled up sarcastically.
"Reputation?"
"Does he still have that?"
After the police arrived. Tham Tinh cried more pitifully than anyone.
"I just took things from my brother's house."
"How can it be considered theft?"
The policeman asked:
"Is this store in your brother's name?"
