Chapter 2
Chapter 2 — After the Rushing Water
“Let's make a statement first.” He said. The feeling of swelling in my throat rose, my voice weakened when I spoke. "Co Tu, you know I'm having an allergic reaction right now." He avoided my eyes: "Then don't make a mess, I'll give it to you after filming." To Vi walked out from inside the resort, held up the phone, the livestream was opening on the screen. "Don't misunderstand Niem Niem, she's not a colorist, she's just always been a little afraid of water." She paused for a moment, lowering her voice. "Actually, A Tu has been helping her overcome her problems for the past few years, but I didn't expect her emotions to be so agitated today. Don't scold her, her health isn't very good either." Comments scrolled quickly. continuously. "An underwater photographer is afraid of water?" "You don't have to rely on your boyfriend's resources to package your image, right?" "This girl is too colorful." Co Tu did not turn off the livestream, just lowered her voice and reminded To Vi: "Don't talk nonsense." To Vi's eyes reddened: "I'm just heartbroken because you're stuck in the middle. Every time she's like that, whenever she doesn't like it, she threatens you with her body." She just needs to pretend to explain to me and she can nail me to the pole of humiliation. I didn't waste any more time, turned around and walked towards the repair area. There is an old abandoned path over there that can lead around to the back door of the equipment room. Co Tu chased to the entrance of the repair area and blocked me: "If you go in now, it will only make everyone feel that you have lost control of your emotions." "Get out of the way." I pushed open the backup door of the old entrance. The lights inside were on, and the air smelled like metal that had been sealed for a long time. Next to the old training decompression compartment, there is still a storage compartment. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw the hard drive box hanging on the compartment wall. But the airtight door behind slowly closed. I turned around and pressed the door open button. The result on the screen is a red text: "Training mode is starting, it is forbidden to open the door midway." The sound of the airtight door closing was even deeper than I thought. There was a "bang" sound, like someone was breathing their last breath outside. I immediately turned around and pressed the button to open the door inside. The screen lights up red: Training mode is starting, it is forbidden to open the door midway. I turned around and banged on the heavy compartment door, shouting out from the glass: "Is there anyone outside? Open the door." The heavy compartment door separated everything. My voice hit the glass, then coldly bounced back to my ears. The signal in the compartment is extremely poor, the phone page takes a long time to load half the network bar. I called the base's front desk, the ringing sound rang out more than a dozen times and then automatically cut off. My throat started to tighten. Each inhale is more difficult than the last. After the constant running between the dock and the base, the remaining allergic reaction was triggered again. The respiratory tract gradually swells, the air becomes thinner. I shook my head, under the pressure, the wound under the bandage tore again, thin blood seeping out. Which is in the control room upstairs. To Vi is still livestreaming. She held the phone and turned towards the control panel. "Let everyone see the simulation of the professional training chamber. Niem Niem's so-called claustrophobia barrier is not that serious at all." Her fingers clicked wildly on the screen, directly switching the old training decompression chamber into demonstration training mode. The staff on duty saw the warning on the screen and quickly wanted to open the door. To Vi leaned closer: "She's definitely causing trouble. Now that you go over there, she'll feel even more confident that she won." Co Tu stared warningly, his face tense, and told the staff on duty: "Don't rush, I'll go talk to her." But he didn't immediately rush to the repair area. He stands in the control room, processing comments in the livestream. My life one
Once again, he ranked behind public opinion. My phone vibrated. I trembled and opened the group of three. To Vi sent a photo. Co Tu sat on the sofa in the resting area, with To Vi wearing a dry towel that Co Tu brought over her shoulder. Right after that, To Vi sent a text: "Niem Niem, A Tu is really good for you." "You keep saying you do underwater photography, the result is that even a little training can't stand it, this time just consider it as courage training." I leaned against the compartment wall, my breathing became increasingly heavy, my finger placed on the screen, typing with difficulty: "Open the door, I'm having trouble breathing." The message was sent, showing read. A few seconds later, To Vi replied: "Don't make small things big. A Tu said, if you talk to him properly in the future, he will let you go." With difficulty breathing, I thought, Co Tu, we will never be here again. I stared at those words, my fingertips growing cold little by little. It turned out that I couldn't breathe inside, and in their eyes, I was just "disobedient" again. I turned around and walked towards the safety glass. In the corner hangs an old glass-breaking hammer, which was left over when the old equipment was removed. With the first blow, the glass only cracked a thin line. With the second stab, the wound on my arm completely opened up, blood trickling down my wrist onto the metal floor. The red light in the compartment begins the countdown.
