Chapter 10
Chapter 10 — Don't Open The Door At 2 A.M
“That's what I found!” I calmly said: “You found the key, and then came to open my door at midnight?” She glared at me with red eyes. "Why do you have to force me?" I laughed out of anger at this sentence. "Who forced who?" Duong Ly gasped, her shoulders heaving. "I just want to get my things back." "You can talk." "If I told you, you would give it to me?" "So you stole the key, hung a bag of chicken blood, installed a camera, and even found someone to follow me?" She suddenly stopped talking. There was chaos at the intersection. Officer Cao and two guards pressed the other man to the ground. The helmet rolled to the side of the road, half of the man's face rubbed on the cement floor, his mouth cursing very dirty. Police Officer Cao searched him for a phone and a black envelope. Opened the envelope, inside was a stack of photos. All are my photos. I buy coffee in front of the company. I received the goods in front of the house. I sat in the hotel lobby waiting for news. There is one photo, the time taken was half an hour ago. I looked at those photos, my body grew cold every inch. Duong Ly whispered: "I didn't take the picture." Police Officer Tran asked: "So who took the photo?" Her lips trembled, but no sound came out. The pressed man suddenly raised his head. "Ly Ly, don't talk nonsense." As soon as this sentence came out, Duong Ly's face turned completely white. Officer Tran looked at the man. "What's your name?" The man turned away. Officer Cao took out his ID card from his wallet. "Ha Xuyen." When I heard this name, the strings in my head immediately tensed. A Xuyen. People in the old phone's chat history. Police Tran put the two people in separate cars. When Duong Ly passed me, he suddenly stopped. She doesn't pretend to feel sorry for herself anymore. There was only cold hatred in her eyes. "You think you've won?" I didn't back down. "At least now you can't come into my house anymore." She smiled. "You're wrong." She leaned half a step closer, her voice so low that only I could hear. "There's something else in your house, which you put in with your own hands." Before I could ask, she was taken away. The police car door closed. She looked at me through the glass window, the corner of her lips slowly curled up. My phone vibrated at that moment. A strange message popped out. "If you don't deliver the items before twelve o'clock tonight, your photo will be sent to the entire company." 12 The message was unsigned. But I know it wasn't sent by Duong Ly. Her phone was confiscated by the police, Ha Xuyen was also controlled. There is also a third person. I gave the phone to police officer Tran. After he finished looking, his eyebrows lowered very low. "Don't answer." I asked: "What photo?" Police Officer Tran said: "It cannot be determined at this time." My throat tightened. "They filmed me for three months." He was silent for a moment. "We will quickly investigate." This sentence was very solid, but it couldn't stop all the possibilities from appearing in my mind. Living room. Huyen Quan. Bedroom door. When I change clothes, do I ever go through the lens? Did I forget to close the door after taking a shower? Duong Ly said there was another thing in the house that I put in with my own hands. Was she trying to scare me, or was there really something? I followed the police to the station. Duong Ly and Ha Xuyen were separated for interrogation. I sat on a bench in the hallway, holding a disposable paper cup, the water surface shaking slightly. Officer Cao walked over. "Don't scare yourself first, the two camera angles have been detected and do not go into private areas." I raised my head to look at him. "What about the ones that haven't been detected yet?" He said nothing for a moment. This silence is more real than words of comfort. When Officer Tran left the interrogation room, it was after nine o'clock at night. "Duong Ly admitted to taking the key." I asked: "Did she admit to installing the device?" "She said the device was given by Ha Xuyen, she was only in charge of installing it." "Why?" Officer Tran looked at me. "She owes money."
money from Ha Xuyen." I closed my eyes. This answer was not surprising. Duong Ly always spent money uncontrollably, buying clothes, getting cosmetic surgery, ordering food from outside, never looking at the balance. But owing money should not be a reason to harm others. Police Officer Tran continued: "Ha Xuyen told her to find someone suitable, it is best to live alone, with a stable schedule, easy to get personal documents." My hand holding the paper cup became tighter and tighter. "The right person is me?" "In their conversation history, that's true." I laughed, but didn't make a sound. It turned out that my tolerance in her eyes was just an easy thing to do. "What do they want to get my information for?" "Currently it seems to be related to loan registration, account registration, and secretly recording videos to intimidate." I raised my head. "Has the video been distributed yet?" "Still investigating." Officer Tran stopped. "But in the old phone there is a file, the file name is your name." My heart sank. "Inside is What?” “Encrypted, the technician is decoding.” The door to the interrogation room at the end of the hallway suddenly opened. Duong Ly was taken out to drink water. The makeup on her face was smudged, and the small mole at the corner of her eye was clearly visible. Seeing me, she even smiled. "Ninh Ninh, now do you really want to know what's inside?"
