Chapter 6
Chapter 6 — Great Lady of Cleanliness
Ky Thinh Lan's face turned pale and she immediately rang the bell to call someone. The nurses rushed in and held me down. The syringe stabbed into my arm again. I struggled to look at my three brothers. They stood in front of Tong Noan Nuan, like three walls that were completely airtight. And I lay in bed, treated like a crazy person completely out of control. Before his consciousness became blurred, a low male voice suddenly rang out outside the hospital room door.
“When did the Ky family's hands reach my hospital?”
Everyone was stunned. I raised my eyes with difficulty and saw a man standing at the door. Black vest, cold eyes, and aura that forced the entire hospital room to immediately quiet down. It's Luc Canh Hanh. My fiance had a canceled engagement party. Behind him is a line of lawyers and bodyguards. Luc Canh Hanh didn't look at Tong Noan Noan, just walked straight to my bed. He bent down to untie the ropes on my wrists. The fingertips didn't touch my skin, the movements were restrained but precise.
“Ky Van Chi.”
“I came to take you home.”

When I woke up, I was in Luc Canh Hanh's private manor. The room was very quiet. The curtains are light gray and the sheets don't have any smell. Humidity and temperature in the air are controlled at a level I find most comfortable. Place a glass of warm water at the head of the bed. On the body of the cup is a disinfection stamp, and next to it there is also an inspection paper. 【Water temperature: 37℃.】 【Water source: natural water imported from Iceland, not exposed to peanuts, dairy products, animal hair, strong flavors.】 I looked at that test sheet for a long time. Previously, these jobs were all done by the three older brothers. Later they called me troublesome. Now, an outsider is doing things more thoughtfully than them. The door was knocked lightly. Luc Canh Hanh stood at the door.
“Can I come in?”
I nodded. He walked in, stopping two meters from the bed.
“The doctor said I overdosed on sedatives and need to rest.”
“No one can come in and bother you here.”
My voice is hoarse:
“Thank you.”
Luc Canh Hanh looked at me.
“Thank you a bit early.”
“There are conditions for me saving you.”
I raised my eyes. He placed a file on the table.
"In recent years, many of Ky Thi's projects have been tied to the Luc family."
"In my hand, I have fifteen percent of Ky Thi's shares."
“Authorize me, I will help you investigate Tong Noan Noan, and also help you escape from the Ky family.”
I looked at him and suddenly burst into laughter.
“Is General Manager Luc that straightforward?”
“Instead of taking advantage of someone else's weakness to step in, I prefer clearer prices.”
He stopped.
“Of course, you can also refuse.”
I picked up the pen and signed.
“Transaction successful.”
Luc Canh Hanh's eyebrows moved slightly.
“Believe me that?”
“Don't trust me.”
I pushed the document back.
"But now I really want to see the Ky family have bad luck."
Luc Canh Hanh smiled slightly.
“What a coincidence.”
“I want it too.”
For the next month, I hardly left the manor. Luc Canh Hanh's people brought one set of documents after another. Tong Noan Noan's identity is even more unique than I thought. Her last name is indeed Song. But not Uncle Tong's daughter. Uncle Tong's real daughter died in a flash flood ten years ago. As for Tong Noan Noan, her real name is Ton Chieu De, and she is a professional scammer career. She had plastic surgery, found out that the Ky family was looking for a benefactor's daughter, then memorized the information and infiltrated the charity fund. Behind his back, he was also connected with several major shareholders who wanted to compete for power in Ky Thi. When I finished reading the documents, my fingers tightened little by little.
“So they locked me in a sanatorium because of a scammer.”
Luc Canh Hanh sat opposite, his voice calm.
“To be exact, a mental hospital.”
“That hospital is nominally called a sanatorium, but in fact it has a history of illegally detaining people.”
I smiled faintly. But my heart is not as painful as I imagined. It turns out that when people are in pain to a certain level, they become numb. Luc Canh Hanh gave me a tablet again. On the screen is Tong Noan Noan's livestream interview notice. 【Puppies don't cry, the Ky family's sponsored student talks about tycoon violence for the first time.】
“She wants to publicly sell carpets?”
“Yes.”
Luc Canh Hanh said:
“Ky Hoai Chau poured resources into her, wanting to position her as an ambassador for Ky Thi's charity project.”
“At the same time, she will use my canceled art exhibition design manuscript to participate in the international youth charity art competition.”
I raised my head.
“She stole my manuscript?”
“The person behind her helped her partially restore it.”
Luc Canh Hanh looked at me.
“The awards party tomorrow night, do you want to go?”
I looked out the window. The snow has stopped. The Imperial City rarely shows any moonlight. I said softly:
“Go.”
“Of course I have to go.”
“I had to watch that dog fall off the stage with my own eyes.”
The next night at the awards banquet, Tong Noan Noan stood on stage wearing a white dress. She cried like a pear flower caught in the rain.
“This group of works is called Snow Mountain Heart.”
“The premonition came from the eldest lady of the Ky family.”
“I know she hates me, but I still hope she can be treated gently by the world.”
Under the stage, applause rang out. Ky Hoai Chau sat in the front row, his eyes filled with joy.
