“You said I took the position of boss and couldn't do anything.”
Duong Nha smiled wryly.
"At the banquet table, words were exchanged... just joking."
“So your current job is also a joke?”
She was speechless. I continued: "That year you knelt down and begged me, asking me to introduce you to Ha Thi."
“300,000 yuan for your mother's surgery, I personally transferred it to you.”
“You swore you would treat me like your own sister from now on.”
Duong Nha stood up suddenly.
“Hua Tri Ha, do you have to bring up old matters to settle the matter?”
“It's not about accounting.”
"But I'm reminding you, don't eat porridge in a bowl."
Ha Canh Xuyen looked at me.
“Tri Ha, why have you been talking so harshly lately?”
I laughed coldly.
“In the past, I wasn't harsh, because I considered you people as human beings.”
Duong Nha was told she had no face.
“What's wrong with you?”
“Leave boss Ha alone, you can't even pay the hospital bills!”
The door to the hospital room was pushed open again. A middle-aged man wearing a gray suit walked in. Behind him are two burly assistants. Duong Nha frowned: "Who are you looking for?" The man didn't even look at her and walked straight to my bed. He bowed slightly respectfully.
“Miss, the car is waiting in the lobby.”
“President Hua told me to come take you home.”
Duong Nha's mouth was open, speechless. Ha Canh Xuyen jumped up.
“Who are you?”
The man handed out a business card.
“Chu Minh Le, Office of the Chairman, Van Cam Group.”
Ha Canh Xuyen looked at the business card, his hands clenched. Duong Nha stammered and asked: "Van Cam Group? Is it the Van Cam group that specializes in high-end fashion supply chains?" Chu Minh Le glanced coldly at her:
“In Nam Thanh, there is only one Van Cam.”
The whole hospital room was in silence. Ha Canh Xuyen stared at me.
“Tri Ha, have you contacted your father?”
I replied: “Yes.”
“I have to go home.”
His voice dropped.
“You can't go.”
Chu Minh Le raised his hand to block the hospital bed.
“Mr.
Ha Canh Xuyen smirked.
“The Hua family abandoned her for seven years, so if they want to pick someone up now, do they pick her up?”
Chu Minh Le's voice was still flat and expressionless:
"For the past seven years, every year President Hua has regularly transferred a sum of money to the account in Miss Hua's name."
“It's just that Miss Hua has never touched it.”
Duong Nha blurted out:
"No way, she can't even buy a shirt."
Chu Minh Le looked straight at me and reported:
“Miss, the bank card is in your name, the current balance is 136.2 million yuan (more than 470 billion VND).”
Duong Nha was unable to stand firmly and had to hold tightly to the end of the bed. Ha Canh Xuyen's face turned black. I looked at him.
“You told me it was only you.”
“Ha Canh Xuyen, you are wrong.”
Chu Minh Le put his coat on my shoulders.
“Miss, President Hua also asked me to leave a message.”
I looked up. Chu Minh Le said loudly: "The president said, whoever makes you feel resentful, the Hua family will reclaim every item." Ha Canh Xuyen took a step forward.
“Tri Ha, let's talk.”
I didn't move. Chu Minh Le leaned over to block him.
“Mr. Ha, please give way.”
Ha Canh Xuyen looked at me, her tone softened.
“Tri Ha, stop being angry and impulsive.”
I replied: "I'm not angry."
"But
that I don't need you anymore."
Duong Nha suddenly rushed forward and grabbed my sleeve.
“Tri Ha, I said something wrong just now.”
“You know I tend to speak frankly and tell the truth…”
I slapped her hand away.
"Duong Nha, your seat is at the company. Someone will come to take over today."
She turned pale.
“Based on what?!”
Chu Minh Le spoke for him:
“Currently, 27% of Ha Thi Fashion's supply orders come from factories belonging to Van Cam Group.”
