Chapter 21
Chapter 21 — I Give Up Everything, Always Give Up My Fiance, Never Give Up My Life
Chu Thi's whole body trembled and she screamed loudly:
"Shut up! Of course Nhuoc Ninh is my niece!"
"Niece?"
I raised my eyebrows, my voice suddenly cold.
“I'm afraid… it's not just that.”
I suddenly turned around, faced all the guests, and raised my voice clearly:
"You are all here today, just to testify for this palace. This palace has been away from the capital for half a year, and accidentally found out an extremely interesting old story. The story is related to the true background of this 'good cousin' of mine - Giang Nhuoc Ninh!"
“Tham Dieu!”
Ta Doan Hanh shouted loudly, intending to move forward, but was stopped by the Dong Cung guards without a sound. Giang Nhuoc Ninh was so scared that her soul flew away, crying and calling out:
"Sister Bieu! I know you hate me, but how could you do that to tarnish my integrity!"
“Clear?”
I coldly glanced at her.
"Your honesty, I'm afraid that from before entering the palace, when I secretly had sex with many young masters in the city, even when I got pregnant and then secretly aborted it, there's not much left left? Do I need this palace to explain each person, each time, each location for everyone to hear?"
As soon as these words fell, the whole banquet immediately shook! Giang Nhuoc Ninh's weak, pure image completely collapsed in an instant! Ta Doan Hanh's face was also extremely unsightly. He obviously doesn't know all of these things!
"No! You lied! You slandered me!"
Giang Nhuoc Ninh completely collapsed and burst into tears.
"Whether it's slander or not, just look it up and you'll know."
My voice was as cold as ice, without looking at her again, I continued to deliver an even heavier blow.
“As for her background, then… it's even more interesting.”
I looked at Tham Nguy and Chu Thi, their faces were as pale as ashes.
"Father, you always thought that Giang Nhuoc Ninh was the daughter born of your old appearance, right? That's why you felt indebted, so you tried your best to make up for it, and even didn't hesitate to sacrifice me."
Tham Nguy suddenly raised his head, his eyes were extremely shocked, in which was clearly an unspoken question: How do you know this? I turned to look at Chu Thi again:
"Mother, you always thought that Giang Nhuoc Ninh was the only bloodline left by your short-lived biological elder brother, and was the last support of your maternal family, right? That's why you treated her as your own child, loving her to the core."
Thi Chu gasped, her face as white as ash. I looked at the two of them, slowly, word by word, falling heavily:
“Unfortunately, you are all wrong.”
"The woman who was hidden outside that year actually gave birth to my father a baby girl. Unfortunately, the child died prematurely in less than three months, causing her to lose her only support."
"To keep her favor, she secretly bribed a mother who was close to her mother. From her, she learned that her mother's biological brother once had a stepdaughter who wandered outside, her identity obscure, no one acknowledged her."
“So she plotted to switch and secretly bring that child back to raise with her.
On the one hand, she turned to her father, cried and admitted that it was his flesh and blood, taking two Apologetic words to ask for protection.”
"On the other hand, through that close mother, he secretly told his mother that the child was the only biological grandchild left by the deceased elder brother, the last bloodline of the maternal family."
“For my father, it was his own biological son who caused it, out of shame he made up for it in every way possible. As for his mother, blinded by those around her, from beginning to end, she believed that the child was the remains of her elder brother. She felt a pang of shame in her heart, so she felt compassion and love without a shadow of a doubt.
Just the size of a child, she held both parents tightly in the palm of her hand at the same time. That same swapped identity became a card for her to gradually return to the Tham family.
“In other words,”
My voice suddenly raised, echoing throughout the great hall,
“Jiang Nhuoc Ninh is not my father's daughter, nor is she my uncle's daughter! She is basically just a person of unknown origin, a bastard! Was colluded by an outsider and a slave who betrayed the master and brought him into the Tham family, tricking you all into spinning around, step by step forcing me - the real daughter - into a desperate situation!”
