Chapter 5
Chapter 5 — Lo Nghien, Don't Cling to Me Anymore
My mother is also tired from running. She pointed at Lo Nghien, breathed heavily and said:
“So why did you bring him home?”
“Aren't you provoking Mom?”
I casually made up a joke: "He's just a friend I met while playing online games."
“People from the countryside in the city like to go to the countryside to experience life.”
"He said he had never eaten pig meat and wanted to try it."
“I thought, isn't there a lot of pigs in our family?”
“So I invited him over.”
“I didn't expect him to actually come.”
I whispered to my parents: "They even gave me money."
“Ten thousand yuan.”
Parents were surprised and looked panicked:
“Daughter, we can't cheat people of their money.”
“Ten thousand yuan can buy several pigs.”
“Aren't you killing people like this!”
“It's so black.”
“That's right.” I quickly took out my phone and transferred 7,001 yuan to Lo Nghien.
Lo Nghien's face was full of confusion: "This is?"
“I only take 2999 and that's enough, I'll pay you the rest.”
I breathed a sigh of relief. It's dangerous. More than three thousand yuan to file a case. My parents were still skeptical, but fortunately in the end they didn't plan to hit me anymore. My father asked Lo Nghien: "Young man, how do you address yourself?" Lo Nghien quickly bowed: "Hello, aunt and uncle, I am Lo Nghien."
“Sorry for bothering everyone today.”
My father patted his shoulder: "Tieu Lo."
“Welcome as guests, let's eat first.”
On the dining table. Twice-roasted meat, braised shrimp in oil, potato stewed ribs, Coca-Cola chicken wings, spicy boiled meat, fried eggs with tomatoes, old duck soup, these are all dishes I like to eat. But I swallowed my saliva, turned around and said to my mother:
“Mom, I want to eat that shrimp.”
My mother casually replied: "If you want to eat, eat."
“Why tell mom?”
“Are you still planning on letting me peel it for you?”
“You've grown so much.”
“Let people laugh.”
Just as I was about to get angry, there was a piece of peeled shrimp in the bowl, which Lo Nghien picked up for me.

My mother also saw it. She said to Lo Nghien: "Tieu Lo, just eat your food."
“Don't pay attention to it.”
“It's not like it has no arms.”
“This child has been spoiled by his aunt and uncle.”
I was so angry that I burst out laughing, forcefully put down my chopsticks, and was about to speak. Lo Nghien spoke first: "Isn't Ninh Ninh allergic to shrimp shells?"
“Or let me peel it off.”
"I'm the best at peeling shrimp. Last time I participated in the city's fast-food crayfish peeling contest, I even won first prize."
My mother was stunned for a moment, looking at me a little guilty:
“Since when are you allergic to shrimp?”
"Why didn't you tell mom early? If she knew that, she wouldn't have bought shrimp."
I said helplessly: "I've been allergic since I was little. I've been to the hospital a few times, have you forgotten?"
"It's just that in the past, I was misunderstood that I was allergic to all types of shrimp, but later I discovered that I was only allergic to shrimp shells."
“Don't buy it, I like to eat shrimp.”
“Anyway, I'm only allergic to shrimp shells.”
“It's okay if you don't peel it yourself or wear gloves.”
“That's right.” My mother nodded and smiled at Lo Nghien. “I remember it clearly.”
Lo Nghien glanced at me, but I glared back. He couldn't help but laugh: "Since childhood, your memory has been good ha ha ha." Then he bowed his head to eat, and said as he ate: "Your skills are really good." My mother laughed: "These dishes are all cooked by your uncle." Lo Nghien immediately said to my father: "Your skills are really good."
“My dad always says no one cooks better than him, it's because of him
I don't know you yet."
My father raised his eyebrows slightly: "Oh?"
“Is Tieu Lo's family also your father's cook?”
“So do you know how to cook?”
Lo Nghien nodded: "Yes."
"My dad said that in the past, he relied on his cooking skills to pursue my mother."
“So since I was little, I've been told to learn how to cook with him.”
“He said that if a boy doesn't know how to cook, he can't find a lover.”
My father laughed: "That's right."
"In the past, I also relied on this cooking talent to conquer your aunt."
