Chapter 6
Chapter 6 — Lo Nghien, Don't Cling to Me Anymore
My father drank some wine and was a bit tipsy. Lo Nghien's mouth is not only very good at scolding people. Complimenting people is also very valuable. My father was quickly complimented by Lo Nghien, so he wanted to become brothers. My mother pushed him hard:
“What are you drunk about?”
"How old are you, how old is Tieu Lo? You can still be someone's father and still call him brother, without asking if they agree."
My father squinted his eyes at Lo Nghien: "Tieu Lo."
"You also criticize this old man for being old. Don't you want to be my brother?"
Lo Nghien quickly shook his head: "No, no." My father felt okay again: "I told you Tieu Lo is not that kind of person."
"Wife, don't stop me, today I must accept Tieu Lo as my younger brother."
Lo Nghien glanced at me and quickly waved his hand to refuse:
“Uncle, I think it's still worth it.”
"I'm afraid my dad won't be able to bear it if he suddenly has an adopted son the same age as me."
My father still wanted to say something, but before he could open his mouth, my mother pulled him back to the room.

Evening. Mom moved the living room next to the main bedroom, leaving Lo Nghien next to their room. Before going upstairs to rest, my mother told me:
"Tomorrow we have to kill pigs. I'll get up early to help."
“Which one should I kill?”
My mother looked at Lo Nghien:
“The one I took home today.”
“Tieu Lo also did the same.”
When Lo Nghien heard that, his face immediately turned pale. After my mother left, he immediately pulled my sleeve:
“Ninh Ninh, the pig you're talking about isn't me, is it?”
I burst out laughing, deliberately teasing him:
“That's right.”
“Regret it?”
“It's okay to scold me a few words online, but you dare to come to my house.”
“Haven't you heard the saying that poor mountains and poisonous waters give rise to evil people?”
“I will let you come and not come back.”
Lo Nghien's face turned white:
"I'm young and healthy, I can help your family with the work. Or should you keep me here for a few more days?"
I couldn't stop laughing:
“Just trick me.”
“Don't you want to eat pig meat?”
“Get up early tomorrow and kill a pig.”
“My family raises pigs.”
“You found the right person.”
Lo Nghien breathed a sigh of relief: "Oh, it turns out that's it." I looked at his strong shoulders under his pajamas. It would be a shame if such strong muscles were not used to press pigs.
“Get up early tomorrow.”
“Can you wake up at four?”
The next morning. Four o'clock in the morning. I knocked on Lo Nghien's door. In front of the pig barn door. Lo Nghien looked at the big sow that suddenly jumped out and froze. I quickly reminded him:
“What are you still doing?”
“Quickly chase!”
Only then did Lo Nghien regain his composure, his eyes widened and he turned and ran away. All of us were in the back chasing pigs. My father and uncles are all old. Very quickly the pig was left behind. Only Lo Nghien could barely keep up with it. But just as he was about to catch the pig. The pig suddenly turned around and directly knocked Lo Nghien into the pond. When the whole group of us ran over, we saw Lo Nghien riding on the pig's back, squeezing its neck and not letting go, looking at us with a smug look on his face:
“Hehe.”
“I caught it.”
The view was so beautiful that I didn't dare look at it.

When killing pigs. My father definitely cut off the pig's blood. Lo Nghien closed his eyes and did not dare to look. But the strength of my hand pressing down on the pig did not dare to relax even a little bit. It wasn't until the pig completely stopped screaming that he breathed a sigh of relief. I quickly pulled out a piece of paper and handed it over
for Lo Nghien.
“Wipe it off.”
“There's blood on your face.”
Lo Nghien has probably never seen a slaughter scene. His face looked a bit dazed. But when the hot fresh pig meat was brought to the table. He took just one bite and his eyes immediately lit up.
"Tasty!"
“So fresh!”
“You can eat two more bowls of rice!”
Lo Nghien ate several large bowls of rice. Burp your fill. I quickly finished my breakfast and planned to go back to my room to make up for sleep. When I woke up, it was almost dinner time. I rubbed my eyes and went downstairs.
