Chapter 7
Chapter 7 — The House She Left Behind
Bundle by bundle, tied very neatly. But after police officer Khuong took out the money, his finger touched a hard layer on the side of the bag. The inside of the fabric bag has a secret zipper. The zipper was opened, and a blue folder fell out. I stared at that bag. The corner of the bag is worn white, with an old label stuck on it. Compensation file for renovation of old area. My heart sank. I've seen this bag before. After my grandmother passed away, when I went to the ward to confirm ownership, the staff gave me an original set of documents. After that, because I was afraid of losing it, I kept it separate from the house certificate. That original set of documents should have been in the storage box under my bed. I always assumed it was still there. Officer Khuong put on gloves and opened the file bag. The first sheet is the preliminary agreement on recovery compensation. The second sheet is a certificate of compensation benefits. The third sheet is an application to change the receiving account. In the applicant section, write my name. Signature looks like mine. The ID number is also mine. But the receiving account section contains a number of other unfamiliar accounts. Officer Khuong raised his head and looked at me. “Is this also signed by you?” I shook my head. "Not." My mother covered her mouth, tears immediately flowed out. “It's not like they want to mortgage the house.” “They want compensation.” La Khai suddenly reached out and held a copy of the account change form. His eyes stopped at the bottom right corner. There is a small seal of the processing unit. Dinh Hanh Consulting. It was the company that received the two million yuan. La Khai gritted his teeth and said. “Trinh Khai Minh, what relationship do you have with Dinh Hanh?” Trinh Khai Minh stood at the door, his face immediately pale. “I only ever cooperated.” “I don't touch the old area's renovation documents.” I looked at him. “So how do you know my house is within the clearance boundary?” Trinh Khai Minh's throat moved. "As a broker, it's normal for information to be a little quick." I laughed. “So sensitive that you can even get the original?” He didn't speak anymore. Ha Ngoc Mai suddenly burst into tears. “I really didn't know this was used to get compensation money.” “Thua Trach said it was just a precaution.” "He said Duong Duong wouldn't help, so he asked aunt to take care of him first." my mother asked her. “So why did you hide it in the secret compartment of your cloth bag?” Ha Ngoc Mai could not raise her head. She had no answer. La Khai looked coldly at Trinh Khai Minh. “You told me this house can be mortgaged.” “You said the ownership is clear.” “You also said the owner's mother nodded.” “Now the compensation file is also in the chain of companies cooperating with you.” “You think of us as weapons to use?” Trinh Khai Minh is impatient. “Manager La, you can't say that.” “You want high profits, I just introduce the project.” “The money is disbursed by your company.” Officer Khuong knocked on the table. “Everything stops.” “Trinh Khai Minh, who is the contact person for Dinh Hanh Consulting?” The blue veins on the back of Trinh Khai Minh's hand appeared. He looked at Ha Ngoc Mai, then looked at La Khai. Finally, he spoke in a low voice. “Chiang Chengze.” “It's him in name.” “But the actual person making the exchange is not him.” Police Officer Khuong asked. “Who is it?” Trinh Khai Minh closed his mouth. At that moment, Phuong Nghien spoke a sentence from the end of the phone. “I know who that person is.” “In Thua Trach's phone, it is General Director Luong.” “Full name is Luong Van Bach.” La Khai's face completely changed. I looked at him. “You know this person?” La Khai did not answer immediately. His silence weighed more than his answer. A few seconds later, he spoke. “Luong Van Bach is the former head of risk control department of Hang Thai Assets.” 08 As soon as the name Luong Van Bach appeared, the whole hallway was silent. La Khai's face was very ugly. Don't panic about being exposed. It was like being stabbed from behind. Officer Khuong asked him. “What is the former head of risk control department?” La Khai took a deep breath. “He quit his job half a year ago.” “Previously in charge of appraising private mortgage projects.” “Then because of some bad debts, I was fired by the company.” Trinh Khai Minh immediately said. “I'm not close to him.” La Khai smiled coldly. “Not close?” “Last year you came to our company
, every time he brought me in.” Trinh Khai Minh's face turned red. “Our working acquaintance does not mean I colluded with him.” I watched them continuously brush off their relationship with each other, but in my heart it became more and more clear. Tuong Thua Ze is not innocent. Ha Ngoc Mai is not innocent either. But most likely they are just the easiest people to be pushed out of this trap. What was really targeted was not the house itself. It's a compensation benefit after renovating the old area. Police Khuong asked someone to look up the business registration records of Dinh Hanh Consulting. Very quickly, the printed copy arrived. The legal representative is not Tuong Thua Trach. It's a man named Luu The Binh. But tracing the share structure to the end, there is one company that holds sixty percent of the shares. The time that company was established was exactly one month after announcing the boundaries of the old area's renovation.
