He replied in a very calm voice:

"Miss Tham, I just thought it would help your house have a little more life. If a new house is left empty, the smell is still very strong. We stayed for two days and helped you get rid of the smell."

I laughed.

"You dressed as a groom, brought the whole family to stay in my house, slept in my bed, used my kitchen, changed the locks on my house, and then said you helped me deodorize?"

The living room suddenly fell silent. Trieu Khai Thanh could no longer keep a calm expression on his face. He lowered his voice:

"Miss Tham, today is my wedding. There was an incident at the hotel with the wedding room. I really had no other choice so I borrowed your house temporarily. After the wedding procession is over tomorrow, we will move out immediately."

I looked at the flower pinned to his chest.

"Did you borrow it?"

He was silent. I asked again:

"Did I agree?"

Trieu Khai Thanh's mother placed the wedding candy plate firmly on the tea table.

"If the house is empty, then it's just empty. We're not knocking down your walls. Young people, don't be so concerned, you only get married once in your life, so you should let someone else save some dignity."

There was a voice in my head that kept reminding me. Don't move your hands. Slapping him would really relieve his anger. But it will take a lot of time to explain later. I took out my phone. Take a photo of the living room. Take a photo of the master bedroom. Capture the history of newly added fingerprints to the lock. Co Man immediately panicked and put her hand in front of the camera.

"What are you taking pictures of? Do you know that this is an invasion of privacy?"

I moved the phone aside.

"You stand in my house and talk to me about privacy?"

Trieu Khai Thanh stepped forward, his face completely cold.

"Miss Tham, are you sure you have to do something big today?"

I raised my head to look at him.

"The one causing trouble, from beginning to end, was never me."

Just finished speaking. There was a "bang" in the kitchen. My newly purchased enamel pot fell to the ground and broke into pieces. A relative poked his head out of the kitchen.

"Khai Thanh, your pot is too heavy, my hand slipped."

Trieu Khai Thanh's face became even more unsightly. I just calmly said: I opened the contacts. The first call is to the building management. The second call was 110. The last call was to Ha Minh, store manager of Hang Thanh Real Estate. The phone was just connected, I only said one sentence.

"Your realtor turned my new house into a bridal suite, and is now holding a wedding right in my house."

The other end of the line was silent for three seconds. Then Ha Minh quickly said:

"Miss Tham, calm down first. I will be there soon."

I hung up the phone and stood right in front of the door. Trieu Khai Thanh stared at me.

"Did you really call the police?"

I looked straight into his eyes.

"I'm even preparing to sue."

Co Man's eyes immediately turned red.

"Why are you so cruel? Tomorrow is our wedding, do you have to ruin it?"

I looked around the bright red room. My heart is extremely cold. That's my house. My money. My family. But now... They turned to ask me again. Why do I want to destroy them? Manager Dieu of the building management board was the first to arrive. As soon as he saw the pile of boxes of wedding candy stacked in front of the door, his expression immediately changed.

"Miss Tham, what is this?"

"He asked them go."

Trieu Khai Thanh immediately stepped forward and smiled wryly.

"Manager Dieu, it's all just a misunderstanding. We only borrowed it for one night, tomorrow morning after the wedding procession we will leave immediately."

Manager Dieu looked at me and then looked at the people in the house.

"Mr. Trieu, this apartment belongs to Ms. Tham, how can you bring someone in?"

Trieu Khai Thanh replied:

"I know Miss Tham. Moreover, this house was given to our company to manage by her."

I opened the authorization agreement to keep the key in my phone and gave it to manager Dieu.

"So familiar are the provisions that allow weddings?"

He bowed his head and looked a few times before saying anything. Co Man's mother walked out, put her hands on her hips and said:

"Management should not join in bullying others. We are all relatives who came to attend a proper wedding, so why would we still steal your things?"

I looked at the black burn from the cigarette butt that scorched the surface of the tea table.

"The matter of whether it was stolen or not will be decided later."

"But it's broken, it's broken."

Trieu Khai Thanh began to lose patience.

"It's just a tea table, how much money should I give you?"

I calmly replied:

"There's still a lot of things I can't pay for."

He smirked.

"Miss Tham, don't talk too much like that. A girl like you can't live in a house this big. We're just holding the wedding for some luck, we're not taking over your house for the rest of our lives."

I stared at him.

"Return full lock management rights."

He turned away.

"Let's talk tomorrow."

The thread of reason inside me tightened again. A police report is more valuable than an argument. Twenty minutes later, two policemen arrived. I showed them my citizen identification card, the electronic copy of the house purchase contract, the key retention authorization agreement, a screenshot of the incorrect door password, and all photos of the scene in the house. The elderly police officer surnamed La. After listening, he turned to ask Trieu Khai Thanh:

"Are you a broker?"

Trieu Khai Thanh nodded.

"I'm the person in charge of this apartment."

Police La continued asking:

"Does the landlord agree to let you stay here?"

Trieu Khai Thanh's eyes wavered slightly.

"She gave the keys to our company to manage."

Officer La looked straight at him.

"I ask you, does the landlord agree to let you stay?"

Trieu Khai Thanh was silent. Co Man burst into tears.

"Comrade police, tomorrow is our wedding. The hotel's wedding room had a leak, so there was no place to stay temporarily. Khai Thanh said this apartment was vacant so we just borrowed it for a day. We really have no bad intentions."
