Chapter 9 — Unanswered Messages
Lam Ha laughed loudly and wrapped her arms around Luc Tram Chau's neck, her voice revealing madness:
“Tram Chau, we are from the same family.”
"You are greedy for Nhiem Nhiem's worship and enjoy the excitement of secretly having sex with me. Now that Nhiem Nhiem is gone, you no longer need me, but I still have you."
"Rotten people like us should be locked together all our lives, torturing each other. That's the best ending, isn't it?"
Luc Tram Chau forcefully pushed her away, his eyes filled with disgust:
“Go away!”
"The person I have loved from beginning to end is only Nhiem Nhiem, before, now, and in the future. What do you think, that you deserve to end up with me?"
The leisurely expression on Lam Ha's face finally could no longer be maintained, she hugged her lower abdomen tightly, screaming:
"I'm carrying your child in my belly. The whole Hai Thanh knows we just had a wedding, and now you're planning to leave your wife and child for the sake of a woman who abandoned you?"
Luc Tram Chau coldly glanced at her, his voice cold:
"Where did this wedding come from, you know clearly in your heart. As for the evil thing in your stomach, go to the hospital immediately and destroy it!"
After speaking, he turned away without looking back. Only Lam Ha was left alone, wearing a wedding dress that did not belong to her, collapsing in the middle of the chaos, screaming like a crazy person. Chapter 9 One year later, Northern Europe. Outside the gallery window, cedar branches are covered with a thin layer of snow, and the afternoon sunlight shines through the glass window onto the canvas. I leaned in front of the easel, leisurely moving my brush. The junior girl who just returned from the country is next to her, drawing and gossiping:
"Have you heard that the Lam family was completely ruined? Back then, after Lam Ha was forced to have an abortion by Luc Tram Chau, she became mentally unstable and ran to the Luc family group to cause chaos. Luc Tram Chau directly handed over the evidence of her embezzlement of public funds to the police, and has now been sentenced to ten years."
The student next to him continued:
"The Luc family is not good at all. In the past, to compete with the Lam family, Luc Tram Chau bet all his capital. As a result, both lost and injured, the Luc family is now just an empty shell."
The lower class girl lowered her voice:
“Rumor has it, Luc Tram Chau even had one of his legs broken by someone from the Lam family, and now he can only use crutches.”
As soon as I finished speaking, my paintbrush fell to the ground. The gallery was quiet for a moment. The junior girl looked at me carefully:
"Miss Nhiem Nhiem, are you okay?"
I smiled and nodded, picked up the brush and continued drawing. Now hearing the names Luc Tram Chau and Lam Ha again, it feels like listening to the stories of strangers. There is no hatred, no gloating when avenging great revenge, there is not the slightest ripple in my heart.
“Infection.”
Co Tu pushed the door open and walked in, with a few small snowflakes still on her shoulders. He naturally took my paintbrush and placed a kiss on my cheek. Laughing asked:
“Are you done drawing yet?”
“Just a little more.”
"The rest will be drawn tomorrow. The hospital finishes early today, I'll take you to see the aurora borealis."
Co Tu gently helped me take off my stained apron, then carefully put on my coat and scarf, held my hand and walked out of the gallery. I met Co Tu after half a year coming to Northern Europe. He is a psychiatrist who accompanied me during my most difficult times, comforting and enlightening me. Dan Gradually, we entered each other's hearts. The sunset flooded the whole street, I stepped on the soft snow along the roadside, smiling like a child. Co Tu reluctantly held my hand tightly, afraid I would slip and fall. We walked along the street chatting about interesting things in the hospital, telling about my latest inspiration for writing. In the whole world, it seems like there are only two of us left. Neither of us saw that in the hidden corner at the end of the street, there was always someone standing there.
