Chapter 6 — 7 Fingerprints Found In My New Home

On the other end of the line there was the sound of a baby crying and the sound of a mother-in-law talking.

“What's the matter?”

His voice was filled with impatience.

“I'll go get the receipt to buy a door lock.”

“I still have to restore admin rights.”

“What do you want to cause trouble again?”

“I am the one who was changed into an outsider.”

“I need my rights back.”

The other end of the line was silent for a few seconds. Immediately after that, the mother-in-law's voice rang out.

“What outsider?”

“He was originally an outsider.”

I said coldly:

“Chu Canh Xuyen.”

“Do you hear me?”

He replied vaguely.

“I'm in a meeting.”

“Let's talk later.”

I laughed.

“Are you in a meeting?”

“What happens at home?”

He didn't answer. The mother-in-law directly snatched the phone.

“Don't come here.”

“The house is busy cleaning the room.”

“No one has time to play tricks with you.”

“That's my room.”

“You left.”

The mother-in-law said coldly.

“Once you're gone, don't remember anymore.”

The phone is disconnected. Khuong Le was so angry that he burst out laughing.

“I drive.”

“If we don't get your admin rights back today.”

“I changed my last name to Chu.”

When we got to the apartment complex. The building manager, Uncle Hua, was sitting in the lobby drinking tea. See me. His expression was a bit forced.

“Miss Lam is back.”

I get straight to the point.

"My house's door lock was arbitrarily changed by someone else."

“I need you as a witness.”

Uncle Hua put down his cup of tea.

“This…”

“It's a private family matter.”

“The management board is not comfortable intervening.”

Khuong Le immediately objected.

“So yesterday, when I opened the door to let other relatives in, was it convenient to intervene?”

Uncle Hua coughed loudly.

"Yesterday, Mr. Chu's mother said that he had already received Mr. Chu's approval."

I took out a copy of the house ownership certificate.

“My name is on the house deed.”

“Now I want to go into my own house.”

Uncle Hua looked at the papers. Look at Tan Viet's uniform again. Finally sighed.

“I'm going with everyone.”

“But if there's anything, say it slowly.”

“Don't argue.”

The elevator door opens. The twenty-sixth floor hallway was filled with two large woven sacks. I recognized it immediately. Those are the out-of-season clothes I keep in the storage room. The apartment door was slightly open. Chu Bang poked his head out.

“What are you doing here?”

Khuong Le took a step forward.

“Get away.”

Chu Bang immediately used someone to block the door.

“My mother said so.”

“If you want to come in, you have to apologize first.”

I looked at the sandals on his feet. Those are the sandals I bought for Chu Canh Xuyen.

“This is my house.”

“The brothers are not at home.”

“Don't just barge in.”

Tan Viet showed his business card.

“I am a door lock after-sales employee.”

“I need to read device data.”

Chu Bang's eyes immediately wavered.

“After-sales staff are also not allowed in.”

Uncle Hua came forward to mediate.

“Tieu Chu.”

“Miss Lam is the owner of the apartment.”

“You let her in.”

Inside the house, the mother-in-law's voice rang out.

“Who's coming?”

She walked out the door. Wearing my apron. In his hand he also held a cooking shovel. That apron was a gift I bought for myself the first year I opened the bakery. There is also a small wheat flower embroidered on the chest. Mother-in-law saw me. Immediately rolled his eyes.

“Are you still bringing someone to search the house?”

I looked straight at her.

“I came to get my things.”

“Also restore admin rights to lock the door.”

“Your stuff?”

Mother-in-law opened the door a little wider. The voice was full of contempt.

“In the house Is there something here that doesn't belong to my son?"

I pointed to the apron on her body. The mother-in-law bowed her head and took a look.

“It's just a torn apron.”

“Do you also have to calculate?”

Chu Bang stood next to him and laughed.

“You're not so poor that you even regret your apron, are you?”

Khuong Le was about to open her mouth to scold him. I raised my hand to stop him.

“Master Qin.”

“Read the data.”

Tan Viet stepped forward to lock the door. The mother-in-law immediately raised her hand to block it.

“Don't touch it.”

Manager Hua spoke up:

“The lockout is in dispute.”

“Checking the data is the right thing to do.”

The mother-in-law slammed the cooking shovel down on the shoe cabinet.

“I'm just the building manager.”

“Who gave you permission to interfere in my son's family affairs?”

Right at that moment. Chu Canh Tinh walked out of the spare bedroom. Both eyes are swollen and red. Still holding the child in her arms. As soon as she saw me, she immediately lowered her head. I looked at her.

“Chu Canh Tinh.”

“Give me back the documents.”

The mother-in-law immediately interrupted.

“What documents?”

“He didn't take anything from you.”

I looked straight at Chu Canh Tinh.

“That yellow file bag you took away last night.”

Chu Canh Tinh's lips moved slightly. Her mother-in-law turned her head and glared at her.

"I dare say nonsense."

The child in her arms stirred slightly. Chu Canh Tinh switched hands to hold the child. The voice was so low that it was almost inaudible.

“At Mom's place.”

The mother-in-law's face immediately darkened.

“Are you eating the apple tree and the fig tree?”

Khuong Le clapped his hands.

“See?”

“The internal turmoil is starting.”

Chu Bang quickly interjected.

“Don't talk nonsense.”

“When will you get it?”

Chu Canh Tinh raised his head.

“Last night it was you who told me to put the file bag in the master bedroom drawer.”

“Did you forget?”

The whole hallway suddenly fell silent. Manager Hua touched his nose. Quietly step aside half a step. The flesh on the mother-in-law's face twitched.

“I'm just holding it for you.”

I coldly said:

“Take it out here.”
