Chapter 8
Chapter 8 — 7 Fingerprints Found In My New Home
“Do you agree to keep it?”
Chu Canh Xuyen looked at me. The voice is a bit lower.
“Can you just keep what belongs to your mother?”
“Old people sometimes bring soup.”
“Do I have to stand outside the door every time?”
I looked at him.
“What about me?”
“When I was changed into an outsider.”
“Who did you make wait outside the door?”
Chu Canh Xuyen did not answer. The mother-in-law immediately started crying.
“Canh Xuyen.”
“I knew right away.”
“Once you get married, you forget your mother.”
“Today he dared to erase my mother's fingerprints.”
“Tomorrow he dare not let me in the door.”
“One day he dared to force me to cut off ties with my mother.”
Chu Canh Xuyen's face was tense. A moment later. He turned to the female police officer. I nodded.
“Then I will install an extra lock.”
“My bedroom.”
“My office.”
“My storage room.”
“All will change to new keys.”
Chu Canh Xuyen suddenly raised his head.
“Are you planning to turn your house into a hotel?”
I coldly replied:
“You guys turned my house into a motel first.”
The male police officer spoke up:
“If you lock the door inside the apartment, you have the right to change it.”
“But we do not encourage both sides to continue to escalate tensions.”
“As husband and wife, we should communicate with each other.”
Khuong Le couldn't help it.
“Comrade.”
“If you want to communicate, the other person must at least understand human language.”
The policewoman took a look at her. No blame. Just calmly say:
“We will make a record today.”
"If in the future there are acts of arbitrarily taking things, arbitrarily trespassing, cursing or pushing."
“Tell the police immediately.”
After the police left. The mother-in-law immediately turned around. She pointed straight at me.
“Are you satisfied now?”
“Call the police to your house.”
“You have ruined the Chu family's face.”
I dragged the sacks from the ground into the storage room.
“Who is the person who lost face?”
“Everyone in the hallway can see clearly.”
Chu Canh Xuyen followed me into the storage room. Handily close the door.
“Do I have to be so cruel?”
The storage room is very small. Next to the wall are our wedding photo frames. Haven't hung it up yet. In the photo. He hugged me very gently. Laughing enough to make others believe that he really loves me. I looked at that photo. Just feels strange. Strange and scary.
“Chu Canh Xuyen.”
“I asked you something.”
He looked at me.
“What?”
“My store's lease is about to expire.”
“Have you ever told Chu Bang that you won't help me renew my contract anymore?”
His eyes suddenly wavered.
“I just said it casually.”
“I also heard you say that that store was opened by you.”
“Chu Bang is my younger brother.”
“You also have to save some face in front of him.”
I laughed. But I can't laugh.
“Your face…”
“Do I have to use my efforts to defend myself?”
Chu Canh Xuyen angrily pulled his tie loose.
"Don't overdo things just because of one statement."
“The other day, if it wasn't for you helping me move the equipment.”
“Can the store open?”
“Moving equipment is also called opening a store?”
“At least you supported me.”
“Supporting me enough to let your mother search my documents?”
His voice lowered.
“What exactly are those documents?”
“Why did Van Hoa sign a cooperation agreement with you?”
I looked at him.
“I want to ask you a question.”
“What you care about is that someone else searches my belongings?”
“Or me didn't tell me about the cooperation with Van Hoa?"
Chu Canh Xuyen was silent. That's the answer. Outside the storage room. The mother-in-law's voice rang out again.
“Canh Xuyen!”
“Chu Bang is hungry.”
“Tell Lam Van to cook.”
Khuong Le immediately cursed back.
“Do you guys have no arms?”
Chu Canh Xuyen's patience finally ran out.
“Let's come here today.”
“I'm sorry, your mother.”
“Go home and sleep tonight.”
“I will arrange things between Chu Canh Tinh and Chu Bang.”
I looked at him.
“I called the police.”
“It scares the old people.”
I laughed.
“Your mother fixed my admin rights.”
“Random my closet.”
“Curse me for being an outsider.”
“Occupy my house.”
“Then she got scared?”
Chu Canh Xuyen stared at me. Finally blurted out:
“You must get a divorce, right?”
The sentence just ended. Outside the storage room was also immediately quiet. The first person to rush forward was her mother-in-law.
“Lyrics are cups!”
“Canh Xuyen.”
“Mom said it a long time ago.”
“He's not someone who knows how to get by.”
Chu Bang also poked his head in.
"The house absolutely cannot be left to her."
Chu Canh Tinh held his child and stood in front of the spare bedroom door. His face was pale. I looked at Chu Canh Xuyen.
“Are you sure you want to use divorce to threaten me?”
It seemed like my calmness had stabbed straight into his self-esteem.
“I'm not threatening you.”
“I'm just reminding you not to push yourself into a dead end.”
I opened my bag. Take out the marriage certificate.
“Dead end or not.”
"We'll know tomorrow when we meet at the Civil Affairs Department."
Chu Canh Xuyen's face finally changed. The mother-in-law immediately clapped her hands.
“Let's go!”
"Don't think that Canh Xuyen can't get married without you."
“It's in such good condition.”
“There are so many girls waiting in line at the agency.”
Khuong Le rushed in from outside the living room.
“Okay.”
“Tell the girls in line to pick up your entire family of seven.”
I put the marriage certificate in my pocket. Turn around and walk out. Chu Canh Xuyen suddenly grabbed my wrist.
