Chapter 10
Chapter 10 — Contact Person Number One
“Dung Gia Duong.” He stood outside the door, his expression not very good. “I am your husband.”
“I know.”
“So why did you turn off my automatic access?”
“It's not turned off. Just need my confirmation.”
“Is there any difference?”
“Yes.” I lowered my voice. “Before you were the number 1 priority, now you are a guest.”
His face darkened completely.
“Do you really have to go to this extent?”
“It's only the thirteenth day.” I remind you. “There are still seventeen days left.”
Thuong Du Bach stared at the camera.
“Do you really think I would divorce you over this kind of thing?”
I smiled.
“I don't know if you will divorce or not. But I will.”
It was quiet outside the door for a few seconds. In the end, he didn't mention giving flowers, apologizing, or going home to eat anymore. I'm counting down the days for this marriage.
“Open the door.” He softened his voice. “Let's talk.”
I pressed the button to open the door. Thuong Du Bach walked in, holding an envelope of documents in his hand. He placed the envelope on the table.
“This is an application to change the hospital contact person.”
I glanced. The template is empty. No signature yet.
“What do you mean?”
“Don't you want me to change it back?”
“I told you to decide for yourself.”
“Now I come to ask you.” He sat down opposite me. “As long as you change it back, this matter will be over, right?”
I looked at him. Until now, he still thinks that what I need is just a name to fill in a blank box.
“No.”
Thuong Du Bach frowned. "Why?"
"Since you still haven't replied to me, why did you delete me?"
“I told you, you often can't contact me.”
"The system can add three people. I know. Chu Sam also knows. Diep Vi An also knows."
I looked straight into his eyes.
"Only I don't know. You didn't do it for effectiveness. You intentionally erased me."
Thuong Du Bach's finger stopped at the edge of the envelope. He did not deny it. I suddenly burst out laughing.
“What, is the reason so difficult to put into words?”
“Gia Duong.”
"Do you feel that I don't always have time to be with you? Do you feel that Diep Vi An calls yes, more like a wife than me?"
He looked up at me.
“I never considered her my wife.”
“So what do you think of her?”
“Recovery consultant.”
“A recovery counselor will cancel your anniversary trip, manage the main house menu, and be your #1 emergency contact on your behalf?”
A tired expression appeared between Thuong Du Bach's eyebrows.
“Those things are not as serious as you say.”
“So why don't you explain the reason clearly?”
He did not answer. I stared at him for a moment, suddenly not wanting to ask any more.
“Take the documents home.”
“You didn't sign?”
"This is your contact, not mine. Whether you want to change or not is none of my business."
Thuong Du Bach's face changed slightly.
“Aren't you always waiting for me to change it back?”
“I'm waiting for you to make a choice. Not waiting for you to come with an empty application and ask me how to turn the page.”
He sat there, speechless for a long time. Finally, he put the document envelope away. Before leaving, he asked me: "Is the anniversary trip really cancelled?"
“Really.”
"You'd rather not go than let Vi An go with you?"
I laughed softly.
“I'd rather not go, anyway not willing to refuse her.”
He closed the door and left. * Fourteenth day of observation period. The contact person has not been modified yet. On the twentieth day, the preparation plan for the annual party of the Joint Health Fund was sent to my email. This party was originally co-hosted by me and Thuong Du Bach. On the process sheet, my name is still there. But Chu Sam's original position in charge of health project reporting was changed to Diep Vi An.
