In front of everyone's surprised eyes, I smiled and was the first person to step on stage. Giang Hao's heart immediately jumped into his throat. He stared at me, his whole body muscles tensed, ready at any moment to call security to pull me down. I received the microphone from the host and tested the sound a bit. Then, I turned to Giang Hao and Anna who were full of caution, showing an almost perfect smile.

“First, I would like to use our most common business language to bless President Giang and Miss Anna.”

I cleared my throat, using English as fluently as a BBC announcer saying:

“Wish you both a prosperous life and prosperous business.”

The guests who understood English on stage politely applauded, just seeing it as a normal greeting. But Giang Hao's eyebrows frowned slightly. I didn't stop, smiled and continued:

“Of course, on a romantic occasion like today, it is even more appropriate to use the world's most romantic language to give blessings.”

I turned to Anna, using an elegant French tone and said:

“May your friendship last forever, just like your love.”

This time, the guests who understood French under the stage showed strange expressions. Wishing for a long lasting friendship? During the wedding? Giang Hao's face began to become unsightly. He stared at me, his eyes full of warning. I pretended not to see it.

The corner of my lips held a cold smile, my eyes were still locked on Giang Hao's increasingly stiff face.

“As one of President Jiang's most important partners, I want to use their language to express my most sincere expectations.”

I switched to German, my tone was serious but clear, every sound was as accurate as a textbook.

“May all of your contracts be genuine and valid, and your reputation will forever be pure and flawless.”

As soon as this sentence was said, the faces of the German business guests below the stage immediately changed. They exchanged looks of surprise and uncertainty, and looked at Jiang Hao with a little more consideration. Giang Hao's forehead began to sweat coldly. His hands unconsciously clenched into fists. He wanted to open his mouth to stop me, but couldn't find any reason. Anna stood next to me and didn't understand what I was saying at all. She could only sense that something was wrong from the sinister atmosphere at the scene. The smile on his face became extremely stiff, like a cheap mask. What a funny contrast her and Giang Hao's panic created. Chu Minh Hien was off stage, the emotion in his eyes was no longer appreciation, but pleasure and gloating. I didn't give Giang Hao any chance to catch his breath.

“Of course, we also have distinguished guests from Spain, Japan and Korea.”

My voice wasn't loud, but it clearly carried throughout the entire manor.

“Wish you both a bright future, no need to pay any debts.”

“May your future be free from betrayal and lies.”

“May the rest of your lives be peaceful in a place beyond bars.”

Every time I changed the language, Giang Hao's face turned a little whiter. Guests at the scene turned from the initial excitement to complete shock. Especially the opponents have foreign transactions with Giang Hao. Their eyes looked at me like they were looking at a monster. No matter what, they did not expect that the ex-wife who was "uncultured and did not understand foreign languages" in Giang Hao's mouth was actually a linguistic genius. My speaking speed was not fast, each word was clear, like a precise surgical knife, layer by layer peeling off Giang Hao's hypocrisy. Finally, I looked towards him, switching to the language that had opened our conversation.
