Chapter 6
Chapter 6 — I Tear Up The Script They Wrote For My Life
Trieu Dinh immediately pouted contemptuously.
“Oh, Miss Hua now has to bring her assistant when she goes out, what an appearance.”
“After all, we are talking about million-dollar business.”
I pulled out a chair and sat down across from them.
“Of course you have to be a little serious.”
Tuong Anh held the documents and obediently stood behind me.
“How are you going to talk?”
I'll get straight to the point. Chu Minh poured me a cup of tea.
“Dien Dien, we don't need to be so tense.”
He still uses that fake gentle voice to talk to me.
"After all, we've been together for three years, we still have feelings."
"Emotional?"
I laughed.
“Valuing sentiment and recording it in the investment book, is that the kind of sentiment you're talking about?”
Chu Minh's face immediately darkened.
“Hua Dien, don't be unreasonable.”
“You saw that photo, right?”
“I advise you to think carefully.”
“Obediently transfer the name of the house to us, then take some of your meager salary and leave.”
“Or will you become famous throughout the company tomorrow?”
“I choose the third option.”
I said slowly. The two of them paused.
“I choose…”
"Let two relatives be ruined."
The moment I finished speaking. The private room door was pushed forcefully from the outside. A group of uniformed police immediately rushed in. The leader is Mr. Truong, Tuong Anh's friend.
"It's the police! No one moves!"
Mr. Truong showed the certificate, his cold eyes swept across the dumbfounded faces of Chu Minh and Trieu Dinh.
"We have received accusations that people are involved in counterfeiting, spreading depraved images and organized fraud."
“Please follow us to help with the investigation.”
Chu Minh and Trieu Dinh were completely dumbfounded. They never dreamed that I would actually call the police. I didn't expect the police to come so quickly. Trieu Dinh immediately shouted.
““On what basis can you arrest us?! Where is the evidence?!”
Mr. Truong smiled coldly.
“Proof?”
He shook the phone in his hand.
“The studio named ‘Era of Light’ has been sealed by us.”
“The boss also confessed everything.”
"He admitted that you paid him to collect Ms. Hua's facial data to create fake photos."
"The witnesses have enough evidence, do you still want to deny it?"
Trieu Dinh's face immediately turned pale. Chu Minh stared at me, his eyes full of resentment.
“Hua Dien! You dare to plot against me?!”
I stood up and walked in front of him.
“I just give it back to you…”
“Just the tricks you used on me.”
“Ah yes.”
I took out that black notebook from my pocket. Gently place on the table.
“Please, police, take this away.”
“I think…”
“The ‘return on investment’ record in here, the prosecutor will probably be very interested.”
Chu Minh and Trieu Dinh were taken away by the police. The private room in the tea shop was finally quiet again. There still seemed to be a lingering scent of their despair in the air. Tuong Anh took off his glasses and wig and breathed a sigh of relief.
“It's very beautiful.”
She raised her cup of tea towards me.
“Your stick hits your back.”
I also raised my glass to lightly touch her.
“Thank you, senior.”
“If it weren't for you, I really wouldn't know what to do.”
“There is no need to be polite between us.”
Tuong Anh looked at me, worry flashed in his eyes settle.
“What are you going to do next?”
“And my mother…”
When I think of my mother, my heart sinks again.
"I don't know."
I shook my head.
“You can put Chu Minh and Trieu Dinh in jail.”
“But can you really bring your mother in there?”
She is still my biological mother. Even though she did so many things to hurt me.
“Legally, she is an accomplice so she is still responsible.”
Tuong Anh said calmly.
“But emotionally, it's your right to choose.”
“I advise you not to confront her directly for now.”
“Let's stabilize the situation first, make sure there are no problems with the house your father left behind.”
“Anyway, the red book is still in her hand.”
I nodded slightly. Thought you were right. The most important thing now is to get the red book back. That's the only thing my dad left me. Also my last card. Not long after leaving the tea shop, I received a call as expected. It was my mother calling. Her voice was filled with panic and insecurity.
"Dien Dien! Something happened!"
“Chu Minh and Dinh Dinh were taken away by the police!”
"Did you do it?! Did you call the police?!"
