Chapter 19
Chapter 19 — Make Me Kneel to His Mistress, and I Will Reclaim His Fortune
“Lam Vy Vy.”
“Is it you who called them here?”
I calmly replied:
“You think too highly of yourself.”
The jewelry store manager saw me. Attitude immediately changed.
“Last night we found out that you were the real person in charge of the charity project.”
“If I was rude before, please forgive me.”
Lam Vy Vy's face became more and more ugly. She couldn't bear the feeling of falling from a high place.
“Are you enough?”
"The matter between me and the Deputy General is not your turn to discuss!"
Right at that moment. The receptionist suddenly spoke up.
“The deputy general told you to go to your room to complete the resignation procedures.”
Lam Vy Vy's face immediately turned pale.
“What did you say?”
The girl brought a file over.
“Notice from the human resources department.”
Lam Vy Vy grabbed it. Just one look and it tore it apart on the spot.
“I don't accept!”
The HR director stepped out of the elevator. The person who used to always flatter Lam Vy Vy the most. Now his tone was cold like a stranger.
“You leaked company documents.”
“Impersonating project results.”
“Reporting information against regulations for personal purposes.”
“The company reserves the right to pursue responsibility.”
Lam Vy Vy pointed straight at me.
“It's her!”
“It's all because she hurt me!”
The human resources director coughed.
“Miss So is currently the representative of the receiving side.”
Lam Vy Vy was bewildered.
“Receive what?”
Right at that moment. The elevator door opens. Uncle Chau walked out. He calmly said:
“Simply put.”
“After Mr. Pho signed the return confirmation.”
“Actual control of the company will be transferred back to you.”
“If you want to cause trouble.”
“At least you should see clearly who you're messing with.”
That sentence was like a resounding slap. In the hall. The pen in the receptionist's hand fell to the ground. A male employee spilled a cup of coffee on his pants. Burned to the point of jumping up. But still didn't have time to cry out in pain. The HR director even took down the employee badge. Put it back on neatly. It's like I'm afraid I'm on the wrong side. This is the first time. My identity is public. Not completely complete. But it was enough to change everything. Lam Vy Vy stepped back.
“No way.”
“She's just a housewife.”
“She doesn't know anything.”
Uncle Chau calmly replied:
“Miss, do you know or not?”
“There's no need to prove it to me.”
I walked towards the elevator. Lam Vy Vy suddenly rushed forward.
“So Van Ninh!”
“Don't be so quick to get complacent!”
“Your mother's story isn't over yet!”
I stopped walking. Uncle Chau's people immediately detained her. I turned my head.
“What do you know?”
Madness began to show on her face.
“Of course I know.”
“Before Mrs. Pho went looking for your mother.”
“Someone told her you had money.”
“Someone doesn't want you to give that money to Pho Van Dinh.”
Right at that moment. Another elevator door opened. Deputy Van Dinh stepped out. Heard that sentence. His expression immediately changed. Lam Vy Vy laughed. The smile is distorted and unsightly.
“Want to know?”
“Then beg me.”
Pho Van Dinh immediately grabbed her arm. Lam Vy Vy cried out in pain.
“Now you know how impatient you are?”
“Pho Van Dinh!”
“When you pushed me out to be cannon fodder.”
“Have you ever thought about me?”
He jerked her away.
“You stole documents.”
“Push me to this point.”
“Still want me to protect you?”
Lam Vy Vy's eyes were full of resentment.
“I hurt you?”
“The person who hurt you is yourself!”
“If you hadn't just taken her money…”
“You just criticized her for not being worthy of standing next to you…”
“So do I have a chance to step in?”
The whole hall was silent. Pho Van Dinh was scolded and speechless. I looked at Lam Vy Vy.
“Who told Mrs. Pho in the end?”
She looked at me.
“If you want to know.”
“Withdraw the lawsuit against me.”
Uncle Chau immediately spoke up.
"Cannot."
Lam Vy Vy shrugged.
“Then don't try to know.”
I looked at her.
“Do you think you're the only one who knows how to leave?”
She was stunned. I took out my phone. Open a recording. Lam Vy Vy's voice from the night in the basement parking lot rang out clearly.
“Don't think that old man can protect you all your life.”
“That nurse too.”
“Everyone will pay the price for your stubbornness.”
Lam Vy Vy's face immediately changed. I calmly said:
“Threatened the patient's family.”
“Theft of important documents.”
“Impersonating a charity project.”
“Lam Vy Vy.”
“Do you want to add more crimes?”
She was really scared.
“So Van Ninh!”
“You recorded me?”
“I see you speak so eloquently.”
“It would be a shame not to record it.”
Right at that moment. Hua Man burst in from outside the door.
“What did I miss?”
“Get slapped in the face again?”
The receptionist replied in a low voice:
“This time it was quite painful.”
Hua Man nodded with satisfaction.
“So that's okay.”
Pho Van Dinh looked at me. There are extremely complex emotions in his eyes.
“Van Ninh.”
“I will help you investigate.”
"No need."
“This is the matter of the Pho family.”
I looked straight at him.
“This is my mother's story.”
He opened his mouth. But couldn't say anything. I entered the elevator. Right before the door closes. Lam Vy Vy suddenly shouted loudly.
“It's the Tham family!”
I immediately held the door open button. She gasped. There was both fear and resentment on his face.
"It was the Tham family who told Mrs. Pho."
“The Tham family is in Hai Thanh.”
First time. Uncle Chau's face changed. Pho Van Dinh looked at him.
“Who is the Tham family?”
Uncle Chau did not answer him. He just looked at me. The voice lowered.
“Miss.”
“The Tham family is from your mother's side.”
I frowned. My mother never mentioned my maternal family. Uncle Chau lowered his voice.
“They were the ones who kicked the lady out of the house.”
“Now…”
“Maybe they want to chase you away too.”
The Tham family's invitation was sent to the hospital the next day. Gilded card. Polite words. But everyone sees it. It was not a simple meal. Hua Man finished reading. Immediately slammed the card down on the table.
“This is an invitation to dinner?”
“At least Hongmen Yen clearly said that we invite you to eat.”
“This is clearly inviting you to come and take the beating.”
Uncle Chau stood by the window. The afternoon sunlight covered his silver hair.
“Miss.”
“This meal.”
“I can't not go.”
I raised my head to look at him. Outside the window. The sun is gradually setting at the end of the city. Which I know. Behind the Pho family. After Lam Vy Vy. Really big fish. It's finally about to show up.
