Chapter 9
Chapter 9 — My Home, No One Should Touch It
Vuong Duc Hau was completely panicked. He understood clearly that if I really made a big deal out of it, Cam Tu Hoa Dinh's reputation would be over. A top 500 business. The manager arbitrarily gave the key to a stranger, allowing the owner's house to be taken over. When this news broke out... stocks also plummeted. As for him, don't dream of keeping this chair.
“Miss Tham, Miss Tham, calm down…”
He wiped his sweat and spoke, his voice trembling.
"We will definitely solve it! We will definitely force them to move out! I guarantee in my name as manager that it will be cleaned up today!"
He turned to Tham An. The tone immediately changed. So tough that it's like two different people.
“Mr. Tham, please immediately pack your things and leave.
Otherwise, we will take enforcement measures and pursue legal liability!”
“Your actions constitute illegal invasion of other people's property.
We have the right and obligation to coordinate with the authorities to conduct liquidation!” Tham An stood frozen. He looked at Vuong Duc Hau, then at me, then back at him. His face turned from anger to disbelief.
"What... what did you say? Wasn't that just now..."
“I was wrong just now!”
Vuong Duc Hau gritted his teeth, his voice carrying the despair of someone cornered.
“I represent the management to officially announce that your move in without the consent of the homeowner is an act of illegal occupation.
Leave immediately, otherwise we will coordinate with the police to carry out enforcement!”
“You bastard, are you turning your face faster than turning a book?!”
Tham An got mad and rushed forward to grab Vuong Duc Hau's collar. Officer Tran took a step forward, blocking the two people.
"What? Do you want to move?"
Tham An's hand stopped in midair. His face was as red as pig liver, but in the end he still didn't dare to move.
"Protect!" Vuong Duc Hau shouted, his voice cracking.
“Quickly come in and clean up!”
Several security guards rushed in and started carrying things out. Pham Dao screamed, his voice was shrill.
“What are you guys doing?! That's our stuff!
You are not allowed to touch it! This is personal property, I will sue!”
“Throw it all out.”
I said coldly.
“Leave nothing behind.”
The guard looked at Vuong Duc Hau. He nodded. So they started cleaning. Cardboard boxes, sacks, boxes, clothes, shoes, food boxes, half-eaten food... Each item was thrown into the hallway. Pham Dao cried loudly. Sometimes he cursed Tham An for tricking her, sometimes he cursed me cruelly, then rushed in to grab the things. But was stopped by security.
"Tham Thanh Vy! You will not rest in peace!"
“You are so evil, you will be punished!
She will not get married! She will be alone all her life! Even if you die, no one will bury you!” I pretended I didn't hear it. These words... I've heard them for ten years. From my mother's mouth, from my younger brother's mouth, from those who advised me "don't be too strong". I don't care anymore. My mother rushed forward to stop me. But the security guard stopped me outside the door. She beat her thighs and cried.
“Oh my god! What is this!
Daughter chases away biological mother! Unfilial! Heaven strikes a holy thing!” My father pulled her back.
“Making a big deal out of something bad…”
“What's not good?!”
My mother screamed, tears and snot smeared all over her face.
"An's wedding house is gone! How will he get married in the future?!"
“He's had a hard time finding a girlfriend, and he's about to get married!
Now it's all destroyed! This house has been destroyed! Canceled!”
“Then buy it yourself.”
I interrupted. The voice is not loud. But clearly every word.
“Thirty years old, with arms and legs, don't you know how to make your own money?
He is my younger brother, not my child, I have no obligation to buy a house for him."
“This… this one…”
My mother trembled with anger. Pointing at me, mouth opened and then closed. Can't say a word. Tham An stared at me. His evil eyes looked like he wanted to kill someone.
“You… just wait.”
His voice lowered. Only I heard it.
"This isn't over yet. I'll make you regret it."
I looked straight into his eyes.
“But remember clearly.
From today onwards, the Tham family and I will no longer have anything to do with it."
“You guys still dare to touch my things…”
“I call the police, I sue, I put you in jail.”
“I said it can be done.”
Tham An's lips trembled. But in the end, nothing more was said. Turn around and leave. Pham Dao is still crying. Being pulled away by him. My mother was dragged along by my father. As she walked, she turned around and cursed, her words becoming more and more unpleasant. The hallway finally… quieted down.
