Three months later. I'm processing documents in the office. Tieu Truong suddenly rushed in.

“General Luc, something's going on!”

Her face was pale and her voice visibly trembled. I raised my head.

“What?”

“Co Mac Han… he… he escaped from prison!”

The pen in my hand stopped. I looked at her.

“You said it again.”

“Co Mac Han escaped from prison!” Tieu Truong repeated, "The police just announced that he escaped three days ago... his whereabouts are unknown now."

I put down my pen. Slowly stand up.

“Does he know my true identity?”

Tieu Truong was stunned.

"Identity? What Mr. Luc means is..."

“I am a member of the Luc family.” I looked at her, my voice low, "Did he know about that when he was in prison?"

She shook her head.

"Probably not. The news is blocked, prisoners don't know the situation outside."

I nodded slightly.

“Okay, I understand.”

"Go notify the security department. Strengthen the protection of both the company and my residence."

“Yes, Mr. Luc.”

She left. I stood in front of the glass door. Look at the city below.

“Co Mac Han… you escaped.”

“What are you going to do?”

I returned to the villa. Security has been enhanced. But in my heart… there is still a vague feeling of insecurity. I opened the door and walked in. The living room is dark. I reached out to turn on the light— A hand from behind squeezed my wrist. The cold voice was close to my ear.

“Luc Van… no, now I have to call you…”

“Miss Luc.”

I turned around. Dark. Co Mac Han stood there. His face was pale, his eyes were gloomy, and his whole body exuded a degraded and dangerous aura.

“Co Mac Han.”

I looked at him, my voice cold.

“You escaped from prison.”

He stepped out of the darkness. The smile carries sarcasm.

“Heavenly Golden Luc Thi…”

“Three years ago if I knew your identity…”

He squinted.

“I won't just treat you as a pawn.”

“Which will turn you…”

“the biggest card in my hand.”

I looked at him.

“Now I know… isn't it too late?”

"Late?" He laughed, his voice getting colder, "Miss Luc, do you think I don't know?"

“The Luc family buys the Co family.”

“She became president.”

“ruined everything for me.”

“Destroy everything for me?” I laughed coldly.

“Co Mac Han, you destroyed yourself.”

“Three years ago, you took advantage of my family's assets and forced me to marry you.”

“Three years later, you faked your death, transferred money, and wanted to take my life.”

“You dare say I ruined you?”

His expression darkened. He stepped forward. Hold my arm tightly.

“Luc Van, do you know…”

“If I knew you were a member of the Luc family…”

“I will treat you… more cruelly.”

He looked at me, his eyes filled with malice.

“You don't deserve it.”

I forcefully pushed his hand away, my eyes cold to the core.

“Co Mac Han, did you escape from prison and come back… just to say those meaningless words?”

He looked at me, a very complicated emotion flashed through his eyes.

“I came back… to take back what belonged to me.”

"Regain?" I laughed, my voice full of sarcasm, "Co Mac Han, do you really think you have the right to reclaim anything?"

"Now you are a wanted criminal, there is no way back. Do you still not understand?"

His face immediately darkened and he gritted his teeth and said:

“Luc Van, I will not forgive you.”

“Don't ignore me?” I laughed coldly, "Co Mac Han, you can't even keep yourself together, why do you want to deal with me?"

I took out my phone and dialed.

“Guard, yes Someone broke into my villa.”

His expression changed in an instant, he turned around to run away, but the security guard rushed in.

“Arrest him.”

I coldly ordered. Several guards immediately rushed forward, forcing him to fall to the floor. Co Mac Han struggled, his dark eyes seemed to swallow me whole.

“Luc Van, do you think you can escape me like that? No… I will come back.”

I stood from above looking down at him, the corner of my lips curled up into a cold smile.

“Co Mac Han, you won't have a chance anymore.”

“This time, I will make you disappear for real.”

After Co Mac Han was arrested, the police immediately increased surveillance of him. But the very next day, a lawyer's letter was sent straight to my office.

“General Luc.” Tieu Truong walked in and placed the envelope on the table, "This is a letter sent by Co Mac Han's lawyer. He asked to redistribute the inheritance."

I picked it up and looked at it, then burst out laughing.

“Redistribution of inheritance?” I laughed coldly, "Co Mac Han, you really haven't given up yet. It's really annoying.”

I took the letter and went straight to the meeting room. Inside, the lawyer representing the Co family and Co Mac Han's new lawyer had been waiting for a long time.

“General Luc.” Co Mac Han's lawyer stood up and said in a polite voice, "My client requests a redistribution of the estate. According to the will, all of Co Mac Han's assets will belong to his legal wife."

He paused for a moment then continued:

“But now, you are no longer his wife, because before going to prison, he filed for divorce.”

I squinted at him.

“Divorce petition? Since when did Co Mac Han pay?

“A month ago.” He replied, “At that time my client did not know your true identity. He asked for a divorce because he thought... you were not worthy to be his wife."

When I heard that, I just found it funny.

“What about now?” I asked.

“Now, after knowing your true identity, my client requests a redistribution of the estate.”

I laughed, but the laughter didn't reach my eyes at all.

“Lawyer, do you find what you just said ridiculous?”

“A wanted criminal, sitting in prison, still sent a lawyer letter to discuss asset division with me. Do you really think he still has that qualifications?”

His expression changed slightly, but he still tried to remain calm.
