Chapter 6
Chapter 6 — My sister-in-law kicked me out of the house, and as soon as I turned my back, I confiscated the villa worth more than tens of millions of yuan!
I closed the file bag.
“It has nothing to do with you.”
Trinh Ngoc Cam stared at me. Eyes rolling continuously.
“Co Hieu Duong, are you secretly doing something from your family?”
I looked straight at her.
“What are you afraid of me doing?”
Trinh Ngoc Cam immediately turned away.
“What am I afraid of?”
“I'm just teaching you on behalf of your in-laws.”
My mother placed the glass of water firmly on the table.
“My daughter.”
“No need for you to teach me.”
Trinh Ngoc Cam was refuted to the point that his face turned blue. But Lam Man always kept her eyes glued to the file bag in my hand, as if inside was hiding something that could bite someone. In the end, my mother still took me home. Not because I want to give in.
“My belongings are still there.”
“Mom, come with me to clean everything up.”
In the elevator, Co Minh Vien wanted to speak several times. But they were all blocked by my father's eyes. Lam Man stood behind Trinh Ngoc Cam's arm, whispering softly:
“Mom, she's definitely doing something secretly.”
Trinh Ngoc Cam lowered his voice:
“Don't panic.”
"An unmarried daughter, no matter how good she is, cannot escape her parents' hands."
I looked at her through the mirror in the elevator. She immediately fell silent. The door just opened. The whole room was in chaos as if someone had just ransacked it. The drawers in my room were pulled all the way out. Books were scattered all over the floor. The bed mattress was also turned over at an angle. My mother immediately changed color.
“Who did this?”
Lam Man quickly spoke first:
"Last night I was looking for a gold bracelet, so I was afraid that you would remember the wrong place, so I went into the room to look for it."
I looked at her.
“You look for your gold bracelet.”
“So why did you search through my diploma?”
Lam Man glanced at the diplomas lying on the floor.
“Who knows where you hide your things?”
My father turned and pointed straight at Co Minh Vien.
“Are you green too?”
Co Minh Vien bowed his head.
“I have already advised Man Man.”
I laughed.
“Advised.”
“And then stood and watched her ransack my room?”
Lam Man lost patience.
“Did you lose anything because you overdid it?”
I entered the room. Bend down and pick up the family photo album. On one photo there were clear shoe prints. That's a photo taken when I was eighteen years old. My parents took me and Co Minh Vien to take family photos. Co Minh Vien saw that shoe print. His face immediately became unsightly.
“I stepped on the album.”
Lam Man immediately objected:
“I didn't mean it.”
My mother held the album. Use your sleeve to carefully wipe the photo.
“Sorry.”
Lam Man looked at Co Minh Vien. But he turned away. Trinh Ngoc Cam immediately stood up to protect him.
“It's just a photo.”
“It's okay to wash a new one, right?”
Finally, my father couldn't bear it anymore.
“This is the Co family's house.”
“It's not a place for you to cause trouble.”
Trinh Ngoc Cam put her hands on her hips.
“The Co family?”
“What about the Co family?”
“Isn't it still Minh Vien's after all?”
“Man Man is the female owner of this house.”
“Is there anything she can't do if she searches a room?”
The whole room immediately fell silent. My mother raised her head.
“Who told you that this house will definitely belong to Minh Vien in the future?”
Trinh Ngoc Cam was stunned.
“Isn't that so?”
“A son takes care of his elderly parents.”
“The house is left to the son.”
“What house is like that?”
My father coldly replied:
“My house is not like that.”
Lam Man began to get impatient.
“Dad, don't be angry.”
“Your mother didn't mean it there."
My father looked straight at her.
“So what do you mean?”
“Kick your sister out of the house.”
“Search your sister's room.”
“Forcing my sister to change her household registration.”
“Which incident is not aimed at this house?”
Lam Man's tears immediately fell again.
“Everyone bullies me.”
“I've only been married into this house for four months.”
“You have to be careful every day.”
“Even wanting to have a room of my own is impossible.”
“She has the most beautiful room facing south.”
“You and Minh Vien must stay in the room facing North.”
“Have you ever complained?”
I looked at her.
“That room facing south is the room I've lived in since high school.”
“But sooner or later you have to get married.”
“How do you know that sooner or later I will get married?”
Lam Man immediately became speechless. Trinh Ngoc Cam answered for her:
“Which woman doesn't get married?”
"If you don't get married, will you stay at your mother's house and be a freeloader?"
My mother put the album on the bed. Turn around and open the wardrobe. Take every piece of clothing I haven't taken out yet.
“Understanding Tang.”
“Pack your things.”
Lam Man immediately panicked.
“Do you really want her to go?”
My mother didn't look at her.
“It's me who wants it to go.”
“You only said it when you were angry.”
My father's voice was cold:
“If you say something in anger, you take away the magnetic card?”
“If you say something in anger that makes someone drag a suitcase out of the house in the middle of the night?”
Co Minh Vien's voice was hoarse.
“You are wrong.”
My mother looked at him.
“Where did I go wrong?”
Co Minh Vien bowed his head.
“You shouldn't have told me to move out.”
Lam Man immediately glared at him. He gritted his teeth and continued:
“You shouldn't let Man Man search your sister's room.”
My mother continued asking:
“What else?”
Co Minh Vien could no longer answer.
