Chapter 3
Chapter 3 — Reclaim My Company
Her eye sockets were red, but her voice was not small.
"General Manager Tham, if you want to blame me, blame me. Don't make things difficult for everyone. Hanh Chu loves me, this is not something they can control."
I walked in front of her. She instinctively retreated behind Luc Hanh Chu.
"How much is the ring on your finger?"
She stiffened. Luc Hanh Chu stood in front of her.
"Tham A Hanh!"
I walked around him and looked at Hua Man's hand.
"880,000 yuan, right?"
Hua Man bit her lip.
"The invoice lists Khai Minh's market promotion expenses, the approver is Luc Hanh Chu, and the checker is Trieu Tinh. You guys turn the money to buy rings into customer appreciation gifts and then account them in the company's books."
The surrounding atmosphere immediately tensed. Chu Thua's eyes changed. He can accept Luc Hanh Chu's adultery, he can advise me to be patient, but he cannot accept Luc Hanh Chu taking money from the company to seduce women. Because in that money there is also his share. People are inherently realistic like that. Before the knife stabs oneself, anyone can advise others to be tolerant. Ly Minh's forehead began to sweat.
"General Manager Tham, where did you get these documents from?"
"The company's financial system was built by me, the audit records are also directly monitored by me, and the access rights are because you guys forgot to lock them yourself."
Luc Hanh Chu's face turned pale.
"You've been investigating me for a long time?"
I looked at him.
"I never investigated you."
I stopped for a moment.
"It's because you're so dirty, you leave traces wherever you go."
Hua Man shouted:
"Don't slander me!"
I took out my phone and opened the second document.
"Hua Man, last December, on behalf of the General Director's Office, you signed three consulting contracts. The recipient of the money was a ghost company under your cousin's name. The next day the money went into your account, you bought a house in Nam Loan."
Her face was pale.
"That house was bought for your mother to live in, right?"
Hua Man rushed forward and tried to steal my phone. I leaned to the side to avoid it. The heel of her shoe twisted, Luc Hanh Chu quickly caught her. That scene was extremely offensive, but this time it no longer pierced my heart. My heart felt like it was soaked in cold water, so hard that even if I tapped it, it made a sound. Chu Thua stared at Luc Hanh Chu.
"Is what she said true?"
Luc Hanh Chu gritted his teeth.
"Now you're asking this? It's obvious she wants to destroy us!"
I corrected him.
"Not you guys."
I looked at the employees, senior managers, board members and partners poking their heads out of the hall. The phone vibrated once. Trinh Nghien sent a message to: Documents received, three independent board members contacted, plan to respond to request for explanation from the Stock Exchange has been prepared, online meeting tomorrow morning at 8:30 a.m. I put the phone away. Luc Hanh Chu saw my movements and finally started to panic.
"What did you end up doing?"
I returned to the banquet hall. The whole hall was silent, everyone was staring at me. I picked up the microphone on stage. The speaker emitted a shrill sound.
"Everyone, the celebration ends here."
No one moved. I looked around at every face.
"From now on, the company officially enters the process of handling important governance issues. All senior managers must be present at the meeting room at 8 a.m. tomorrow morning. Anyone who does not come will be considered to have given up the opportunity to explain."
Luc Hanh Chu rushed onto the stage.
"I have no right to make a statement!"
I looked at him.
"General Manager Luc, you better go back and review the documents you signed."
I put down the microphone. He even wanted to rush to hold me back. But this time, the hotel security guard stopped him. Because just now, I told the secretary to pay all expenses of the party. Tonight, the person in charge of paying for this hall is me. At 7:40 the next morning, I entered the Khai Minh Khoa Ky building. The electronic screen in the lobby was still running the red slogan congratulating the company on its successful listing yesterday. Warmly congratulate Khai Minh Khoa Ky on officially listing on the main exchange. Every word seemed to stab my eyes. The receptionist saw me, his mouth opened and closed, and after a long time he spoke:
"General Manager Tham."
I nodded slightly, swiped my card and went through the control gate. The sound of hurried footsteps was heard from behind. Luc Hanh Chu chased after him. His suit was wrinkled, his eyes were blue-gray, he clearly hadn't slept all night. He blocked the elevator door.
"A Hanh, let's talk."
I pressed the top floor button.
"8 o'clock, meet in the conference room."
He raised his hand to block the elevator door.
"Are you determined to push everything to the end?"
I raised my eyes to look at him.
"When you registered your marriage, did you ever leave a way out for me?"
His breath stopped. There were a few other employees in the elevator, everyone stood straight, no one dared to look around. Luc Hanh Chu tried to suppress his anger.
"I registered to marry Hua Man because she was pregnant. I admit I was confused, but it doesn't mean I don't have feelings for you."
I watched the number on the elevator keep increasing.
"Of course you have feelings for me."
His eyes immediately lit up. I continued:
"You have feelings for my shares, for my technology, for my resources, for my ability to handle pressure."
The elevator door opens. I walked out. Exactly 8 o'clock. The meeting room was full of people. Member of the board of directors, independent board member, legal department, finance department, audit consultant, board secretary and even Trinh Nghien. He sat at the other end of the long table, wearing a black suit, with a thick file of documents in his hand. Three years ago, Nghien Thach Investment Fund, founded by Trinh Nghien, competed with Khai Minh for the same project. He lost half a step to me, and since then every time we meet, it's like hiding a knife in his eyes. Now, that knife is in my hand. As soon as Luc Hanh Chu saw him, his face immediately changed.
"Trinh Nghien, why are you here?"
Trinh Nghien turned a page of the document.
"At the invitation of General Director Tham, I came to discuss the plan to restructure key assets."
Chu Thua slammed the table.
"Myth! Khai Minh just listed, you guys are already playing a buying game, how do you want the market to perceive it?"
I sat down.
"The market will watch the announcement."
The secretary of the board of directors opened the machine mat. The first document is a notice of my termination of voting authorization to Luc Hanh Chu. The second document is the clause that activates the reputation mechanism in the Founders Unified Action Agreement. The third document is a letter of intent to transfer conditional shares between me and Nghien Thach Investment Fund. The fourth document is a preliminary list of unusual expenses, related party transactions and benefit transfers compiled by the audit unit. Each document page appears one after another. Luc Hanh Chu's face also gradually darkened with each page. Ly Minh stood up.
"General Director Tham, these documents need to be verified. Conclusions cannot be drawn from just one side's documents."
Trinh Nghien looked up.
"So we invited the lawyer's office and the independent audit company. Last night they officially got involved."
Ly Minh's lips pursed tightly.
"That's when you forced me to be generous at the celebration party."
