Chapter 11
Chapter 11 — The 420 Thousand Yuan Car And The Marriage Was Returned
That day, Bui Nghien Chu once said:
"Wedding expenses arise very urgently."
"If you're busy, I can still handle it."
I believed him. The printed statement is very long. 96,000 yuan was transferred to Bui's mother. 32,000 yuan paid at the jewelry store. 28,000 yuan for a ski resort hotel. 8,600 yuan for equipment rental. There are also all kinds of sundry bills. Concert tickets. In the list of recipients... Nguyen Niem Niem's name appears 17 times. Luc Dinh Van kept the statement in his file.
"This amount can be requested to be refunded."
"But because the account has been granted general permissions, the process will take quite a while."
I looked at him.
"I'm not afraid for long."
Just finished speaking. Bui Nghien Chu made a video call. The screen has just connected. I immediately saw my door wide open. Bui's mother led her relatives to search every corner. Nguyen Niem Niem sat on the sofa. In my arms I held my cream-colored stuffed rabbit. Bui Nghien Chu held the phone and turned around the room.
"I came to get my things."
"The landlord has agreed to open the door."
I immediately called the landlord. The other end of the line stammered:
"Your boyfriend said you two are getting married."
"Everything is public property."
"I didn't know you two were making such a big deal out of it."
"Miss promise, don't make things difficult for me."
In the video. Bui's mother opened my wardrobe.
"This cashmere coat is beautiful."
"Nim Niem fits well."
Nguyen Niem Niem pretended to stop:
"Auntie, that's not nice."
Bui's mother immediately responded:
"It hasn't compensated me for my medicine yet."
"How about getting a shirt?"
I always carry the silver bracelet my grandmother left me with me. Do not leave it at home. But her photo album is still in the bedside table. The very next second. Bui's mother picked up the album and flipped a few pages.
"Is this his grandmother?"
"No wonder you raised such a petty granddaughter."
She conveniently threw the album into the cardboard box. On the outside of the box were written in large letters: UNUSED GARBAGE. It felt like something had exploded in my chest. I immediately stood up and rushed out. Luc Dinh Van held me back.
"Don't go alone."
When we got to the apartment complex. There is a moving car parked downstairs. A few neighbors poked their heads out to see the commotion. The homeowner stood outside the door. His face was full of confusion.
"Miss Hua."
"I'm really sorry."
"They said you already agreed."
I didn't reply. Go straight into the house. The living room was ransacked as if it had just undergone a sweep. Clothes were thrown all over the ground. Spices in the kitchen spilled all over the table. Grandma's album was crushed under a pile of clutter. The outside cover also has a shoe print on it. As soon as Bui's mother saw me, she immediately spoke first:
"You came back just in time."
"We took these things to pay off debt."
"You injured Niem Niem."
"Causing Nghien Chu's work to be investigated again."
"We don't ask for much from you."
I picked up the album. Use your sleeve to wipe off the shoe prints on the cover. Bui Nghien Chu frowned.
"I didn't tell them to touch your grandmother's things."
I raised my head to look at him.
"Do these words still make sense now?"
Nguyen Niem Niem put down the stuffed rabbit.
"Miss Tri Vi."
"I really don't want to take your things."
"It's you who insisted on giving it to me."
She was wearing my cashmere shirt. The sleeves are a bit longer. She folded it up a few times. Bui's mother smiled proudly.
"Nien Niem dresses better than you."
"Trousers A shirt also knows how to choose its owner."
I walked to the bedroom door. The mattress was overturned. The nightstand drawer is empty. Inside is kept: Photocopy of identification documents. Vehicle purchase contract. Wedding deposit receipt. It all disappeared.
"Where are the things?"
Bui Nghien Chu avoided my eyes. Bui's mother immediately interjected:
"I don't know."
Luc Thanh walked in from the balcony. In his hand he held a trash bag. The mouth of the bag revealed a torn corner of paper. I immediately noticed. That's the contract. Luc Dinh Van stepped forward.
"Put it down."
Luc Thanh turned and ran away. I rushed to the door. Bui's mother suddenly plopped down on the ground blocking the path.
"Hit people!"
"Hua Tri Vi hit someone again!"
In the midst of chaos. Nguyen Niem Niem suddenly shouted:
"Mr. Nghien Chu, be careful!"
Luc Thanh opened the hallway window. Throw the trash bag straight down. Papers were blown everywhere by the wind. The car purchase contract fell onto the grass downstairs. Bui Nghien Chu stood in front of me.
"It's just some papers."
"Do you have to force everyone to go crazy to agree?"
I raised my hand. Slap him straight in the face. The crisp sound echoed throughout the room. Everyone was dumbfounded. Bui Nghien Chu slowly turned his head. His eyes were dark and scary.
"Hua Tri Vi."
"You dare hit me?"
