Chapter 4
Chapter 4 — The 420 Thousand Yuan Car And The Marriage Was Returned
Bui Nghien Chu looked at me:
"Hua Tri Vi, apologize."
The light in the room is very warm. But each person's face was clearly cold.
"Sorry who?"
"Sorry Niem Niem."
"Because she wanted to take my car skiing, so you remotely locked my car's speed, almost causing me to have an accident, and ended up using my card to book a hotel?"
Nguyen Niem Niem's eyes immediately turned red.
"I didn't know the hotel was paid for with your card."
"Mr. Nghien Chu said it was his backup card."
An unnatural look appeared on Bui Nghien Chu's face. But very quickly, he frowned again:
"The card is with me."
"I will pay you back."
"Do you have to mention money in front of outsiders?"
"Outsider?"
I glanced at Nguyen Niem Niem. She immediately bowed her head. Bui Nghien Chu's voice became a bit heavier:
"Nien Niem is not an outsider."
"So what am I?"
The question just came out. The living room immediately fell silent. Bui Nghien Chu looked at me like I was an incomprehensible nuisance.
"Hua Tri Vi."
"Don't force me to say harsh words."
"We've been together for seven years."
"If you don't have even this little bit of trust, then there's no point in getting married anymore."
In the past, that statement would have scared me. But now... Only pain remains. Not heartbroken. It's the pain of an old wound being repeatedly torn open over and over again. Nguyen Niem Niem suddenly stood up, his body staggering.
"Mr. Nghien Chu..."
"I'm so dizzy."
Bui Nghien Chu immediately supported her.
"You should sleep in the master bedroom."
My fingertips unconsciously touched the edge of the shoe cabinet.
"The master bedroom is my room."
Bui Nghien Chu lost patience:
"The bed there is wider."
"She has a fever and needs to rest."
"I'm going to the office to sleep for the night."
Nguyen Niem Niem whispered:
"It's not okay..."
"Miss Tri Vi will notice."
Luc Thanh laughed mockingly:
"She cares about a lot of things."
"Does the whole world have to revolve around her?"
Bui Nghien Chu picked up Nguyen Niem Niem. Head straight towards the master bedroom. The moment the door was pushed open. I saw the silver bracelet my grandmother left on the nightstand. It is the most precious thing I have. Nguyen Niem Niem put his arm around Bui Nghien Chu's shoulder. As she passed me, she said softly:
"Miss Tri Vi."
"Mr. Nghien Chu said you sleep very lightly."
"Can you please stop coming in and make noise for me tonight?"
The master bedroom door slammed shut right in my face. Luc Thanh stepped forward, blocking my way.
"Hear that?"
"Don't humiliate yourself anymore."
I raised my head to look at him. The very next second. From the bedroom came Nguyen Niem Niem's surprised cry:
"Mr. Nghien Chu!"
"This bracelet is so beautiful!"
Bui Nghien Chu did not leave immediately. The sound of a drawer being pulled open was heard in the room. I pushed Luc Thanh away. He grabbed my arm.
"What are you going to do?"
"Let go."
Luc Thanh did not let go. Hands clenched like iron pincers. From the main bedroom came the soft voice of Nguyen Niem Niem:
"Is this Tri Vi's?"
Bui Nghien Chu replied:
"It's something her grandmother left behind."
"You like it?"
Nguyen Niem Niem smiled softly:
"I'm just checking it out."
"It looks very vintage feeling."
"When I was little, I also wanted to have a grandmother."
"I'm sorry no."
I shook Luc Thanh's hand away and rushed towards the bedroom. The door is not locked. The moment he pushed the door open and walked in... Nguyen Niem Niem was wearing a silver bracelet on his wrist. Her wrist is very small. The bracelet slid down, making a very soft "ding" sound. The sound made my stomach turn.
"Remove it."
Bui Nghien Chu stood next to the bed, his face gloomy.
"She just tried it on."
Nguyen Niem Niem seemed scared by me. She quickly raised her hand to remove the bracelet. But the bracelet got stuck on the wrist bone. The more I try to take it off, the more it won't come out. She was so upset that tears fell again.
"Sorry..."
"I can't take it off."
Bui Nghien Chu immediately grabbed her hand.
"Don't try to pull too hard."
"It'll hurt."
When he said that... He didn't even look at my injured knee. Don't even look at the scratches on the back of your hand. I stepped forward. Bui Nghien Chu immediately blocked in front of me.
"Hua Tri Vi, don't go crazy anymore."
"That's a relic my grandmother left me."
"I know."
His voice was full of pretentiousness.
"Tomorrow I will find a technician to help you remove it."
Nguyen Niem Niem cried and shook her head.
"No way."
"I still have to go to the ski resort tomorrow."
Luc Thanh stood outside the door and spoke:
