Chapter 27
Chapter 27 — The Fateful Trial
“I am Duong Hoa.” I took out my ID card. "It's also the person whose signature was impersonated."
Lam Mai slammed the table: "She said nonsense! Our family has clearly confirmed it." She pulled out a commitment paper from her pocket: "This is proof that she voluntarily gave up her newborn's resettlement rights." That piece of paper is exactly like the commitment in the iron box in the ancestral house. But this copy has full signatures and fingerprints. Lam Mai looked at me smugly: "Duong Hoa, don't forget, you pointed this out yourself." I looked at that piece of paper: "When I pressed my fingerprint, she said this was a health insurance payment record." Lam Mai laughed: "Do you have proof?" As soon as she finished speaking, Tong Uyen suddenly took a step forward: "I have." Lam Mai turned her head: "What else are you planning to do?" Tong Uyen's face was pale, but she still took her phone out of her pocket: "That day in the hospital room, when you asked her to print her fingerprint, I recorded a video." Lam Mai rushed in and tried to snatch the phone. Ha Binh spread his arms in front of Tong Uyen: "Don't touch her anymore." Lam Mai was stunned. Ha Binh's eyes were bloodshot, but he did not back down. Tong Uyen turned on the video. In the video, I was half lying, half sitting on the hospital bed, my face pale and scary. Lam Mai held a stack of papers, her voice was gentle and warm:
"Hoa, this is the hospital and insurance payment file. I'm too tired to read it, mom has it ready for you. Just press your hand here."
In the video, I absent-mindedly asked: "Is it all for An An, Mom?" Lam Mai smiled: "Of course, it's all for An An." The hall suddenly fell silent. The employee's face turned serious: "This commitment is temporarily not accepted." Lam Mai was so angry that she was shaking: "You guys are all crazy!" At that moment, the policeman's phone rang. After hearing that, his face suddenly darkened.
"Miss Duong, your mother's house has controlled a person. In his backpack there is a gas tank and a lighter."
I have a male leg kick, I have to hold on to the counter to stand steady. The police continued: "The suspect confessed that Vien Ban incited him to threaten her family members. Currently Vien Ban is loitering near this Correctional Office." As soon as the words ended, there was a loud noise outside the door. The glass door was smashed open. Vien Ban rushed in sweating profusely, clutching a phone in his hand. He glared at Lam Mai, his voice full of indignation:
"Old lady Lam, you said you would take care of everything if anything happened. Now the police are arresting me, don't you dare escape alone!"
21 Vien Bin was pinned down on the tile floor of the hall by two police officers. His phone flew out, the screen still lit, displaying a list of call recording files. Lam Mai's face was ashen, she couldn't even hold the stick: "I don't know him." Vien Ban struggled to raise his head and let out a pathetic and ferocious laugh:
"Unfamiliar? So who hired me to accept Vuong Xao Tran's lawsuit? Who sent me the threatening message? Who was the person lurking at Duong Hoa's mother's door that made me look for it?"
He turned to look at the police: "I cooperate. I will tell everything." The whole hall was buzzing. The staff at the counter immediately stopped reviewing the Ha family's resettlement demographic records, and immediately issued a notice to freeze the records. Look at that notice, hon The boulder that has been weighing heavily on my heart for so long has finally been lifted. But still not enough. An An's household registration has not yet returned. Before being escorted away, Vien Ban suddenly looked at me:
"Duong Hoa, don't be too quick to be complacent. Without Lam Mai's nod, this case cannot be done, but Headmaster Tien still holds a final confirmation paper in his hand. Without that paper, even if you run and break your leg, you will have to wait patiently for the process."
I was not intimidated by his words.
