Chapter 2
Chapter 2 — The Six Year Lie
“Are you awake?” He walked in and placed the medicine on the bedside table. "My name is Gian Dien, I work in the cardiology department. We once made friends at a party." Thinh Tri Ha remembered exactly what happened. "Thank you for taking me to the hospital." She sat up on her hands and knees, her voice hoarse. “When you feel better, I will invite you to dinner.” “Nothing.” Gian Dien pulled out a chair and sat down. "Your name is on the list for training in Singapore. At that time we will go together, we will also have company."Thinh Tri Ha was stunned, she didn't expect he knew her. She bowed her head, was silent for a few seconds, then softly said: "Okay." Gian Dien stood up, pulled the blanket higher for her: "Just rest well, wait for the fever to subside and then continue." Having finished speaking, he turned and left. The hospital room became quiet again. Thinh Tri Ha placed her hand on her stomach and closed her eyes. PART 3 Thinh Tri Ha stayed in the hospital for one day, her fever completely subsided. On the day she was discharged from the hospital, she was sitting by the bed putting on her shoes when the door was pushed open. To Cam Xuyen walked in, behind was Ha Giao Giao, carrying a fruit basket in her hand. "Miss Tri Ha, are you feeling better?" Ha Giao Giao put the fruit basket on the bedside table. Thinh Tri Ha did not look at her, just bowed his head to tie his shoe laces. To Cam Xuyen leaned against the door frame, hands in his pockets, looking at her: "You didn't tell me you had a fever, you didn't know until your colleagues told you." Thinh Tri Ha's hand tying her shoelace stopped, but she did not raise her head. To Cam Xuyen walked over, bent down to pick up the scattered medicine boxes, put them in her bag and placed them next to her hand. He lowered his head to look at her: "The fever is so bad that you have to be hospitalized, are you going to hide it from me forever?" Thinh Tri Ha stood up, stuffed things into his bag: "I'm okay." To Cam Xuyen reached out to adjust the collar of her jacket, his fingertips brushing her collarbone. Ha Giao Giao stood next to him, his voice sweet: "Cam Xuyen, let's go. Your father has already booked a seat, today we will discuss the title review." To Cam Xuyen replied "yes", looked at Thinh Tri Ha and lowered his voice: "Wait for me to come back to you." He turned to leave, Ha Giao Giao followed. Before leaving, she turned her head to look at Thinh Tri Ha, the corners of her lips curled up. Thinh Tri Ha stood in the empty hospital room, tightened her bag handle for a few seconds, took a deep breath, and then carried her bag out. She went straight to the pediatric boarding area. Tri An was awake and obediently sat on the bed waiting for her. Thinh Tri Ha wiped his face and held his hand to the blood testing area. Tri An bit her lip to not cry, her small face turned red from trying to hold back. Thinh Tri Ha hugged him. After taking the blood, she fed him porridge and then played with Tri An until the afternoon. Just after two o'clock in the afternoon, Ha Giao Giao pushed the door open and walked in, with an assistant behind him. "Miss Tri Ha, is this your younger brother? So cute." She walked to the bed and raised her hand to pat Tri An's head. Thinh Tri Ha immediately grabbed her wrist: "Don't touch her." Ha Giao Giao snatched her hand away, her voice cold: "Thinh Tri Ha, don't be so stubborn. For a yellow-faced wife like you, Cam Xuyen is the right choice by my side. Your brother's surgery, if I say it can be done, I can do it, if I say if I can't do it, then it's useless for you to look for anyone. You're just a nurse, why are you fighting with me? Do you think Cam Xuyen really values you? He married you just because you were obedient." easy to command.” “Get out!” Thinh Tri Ha's voice suddenly rose, his eyes turned red, his whole body trembled. Ha Giao Giao did not move. She looked down at Tri An and then reached out to push him. Tri An was pushed sideways, the back of her head hit the bed rail, causing her to cry in pain. "Tri An!" Thinh Tri Ha rushed forward to hug his younger brother, turning his head to glare at Ha Giao Giao. "What are you doing?" Ha Giao Giao raised her head, her eyes were red, her face full of self-pity: "Miss Tri Ha, I just wanted to touch the child's head, why did you push me?" "I didn't push you! You pushed Tri An!" Ha Giao Giao's assistant
immediately spoke up: "Nurse Thinh, we all saw it, you pushed Ms. Ha first." People in the hallway started looking in. Tri An cried until he was out of breath. Thinh Tri Ha hugged him, his hands shaking non-stop. Footsteps were heard from behind. To Cam Xuyen wore a white blouse and walked quickly. He looked at Ha Giao Giao, then looked at Tri An who was crying, his eyebrows furrowed: "What's wrong?" Ha Giao Giao shook her head, her eyes red: "It's okay, I just want to visit Tri An. Maybe Tri Ha was too nervous so she pushed me." She rubbed her shoulder, her voice getting quieter and quieter. To Cam Xuyen looked at Thinh Tri Ha: "You pushed her?" "She pushed Tri An." Thinh Tri Ha's voice trembled. “The back of Tri An's head hit the bed rail, look…” “I didn't push the child.” Ha Giao Giao interrupted her, his voice very light. "How can you push a sick child? Ms. Tri Ha, I know you are under a lot of pressure, but you cannot slander me like that."To Cam Xuyen looked at the red swelling on the back of Tri An's head, then looked at Ha Giao Giao. He was silent for a moment before saying: "She just came to visit Tri An, your reaction is too excessive." Thinh Tri Ha was stunned. "Tri An is okay, just a slight bump." To Cam Xuyen said. “Giao Giao will not intentionally push the boy.” Thinh Tri Ha did not say anything, turned around to comfort Tri An who was still crying and trembling.
