Chapter 21
Chapter 21 — Transfer Rate Changed
Thieu Thanh Hai threw the note in front of him: "You explain this first." Co Thua clearly saw the words on it, her face immediately changed.
“This is fake.”
Trieu Khai Minh looked up: "Co Thua, you gave it to me yourself that year."
"You're spitting blood!" Co Thua pointed straight at him, "Because you wanted to protect yourself, you planned to harm me."
The female disciplinary team officer paused the video right at the frame of him smoking: "What about this video?" Co Thua's mouth fell open. Tran Ngoc Lan was brought in. Seeing the video, she immediately screamed: "So what? Khuong Ninh is my daughter-in-law, isn't helping her husband a natural duty? Is there any woman who doesn't have to go through something like that?" Liu Tieu Man tried to rush forward but was stopped by Lao Trinh. I stood up: "Tran Ngoc Lan, before my father passed away, you used to come to the hospital room." She was stunned: "What will happen when it comes?"
“What did you say to him?”
Co Thua's face immediately became ugly: "Khuong Ninh, don't drag your father into this matter." I stared at Tran Ngoc Lan: "You say it." Tran Ngoc Lan craned her neck to argue: "I told you to go up the mountain, tell him not to be a burden and drag you down. Does it matter? He is a sick person, does he still want his daughter to serve him all his life?" My ear felt like it was being hit hard by a blunt object. One day before he passed away, my father suddenly refused to let me stay and take care of him, constantly urging me to go to the hospital to sign support documents. He said don't ruin my future because of him. It turns out he wasn't afraid of ruining my future. But someone held a knife to his hospital bed. Old Trinh cursed: "Are you still human?" Tran Ngoc Lan still tries to argue: "I do this because I want it to be good for her. A married woman must know how to take care of her husband's family." I walked in front of her. Co Thua frantically shouted: "Khuong Ninh, don't touch my mother." I don't move my hands or feet. I just pulled out my father's old medical records from the medicine box and placed them on the table.
“You used my father's hospital bed to force me to go up the mountain, used my record of supporting you to pave the way for yourself, used my medical record to help To Van Tinh compete for a position, and then used my own patient to denounce me.”
I turned to look at Co Thua: "What else do you all want to get from me?" Co Thua's lips moved, but this was the first time he couldn't utter a complete sentence. A voice suddenly sounded outside the door.
"I also want to take her life."
Everyone turned to look. The head nurse of the Emergency Department stood at the door, holding a brand new report: "Just received it. The photo taken during the night medical examination among the denounced photos in Van Linh, the photographer has been found." She submitted a report to the disciplinary team.
"The photographer was the pharmacist that Dr. Co Thua sent to Van Linh three years ago. That guy confessed, Dr. Co told him to watch to see if Khuong Ninh made any mistakes, it would be best to take a picture of something so she could never return to the city."
Co Thua roared: "It's slander!" The head nurse glared at him: "That guy even submitted the recording." The recording file is played. Co Thua's voice echoed out, carrying the arrogance and contempt of three years ago.
“It's best for her to stay in Van Linh. If she comes back, I'll be upset It's very complicated.”
Just a short sentence, like a nail hammering down the last piece of cloth covering his body. I closed my eyes, then opened them. No tears. Only one clear sentence remained.
“Co Thua, let's meet at the Civil Affairs Department.”
The thirty-day conciliation period has not yet ended, Co Thua's practicing certificate has been suspended. The day the hospital notice was posted, the front door of the Emergency Department was crowded with people.
