Chapter 6
Chapter 6 — Transfer Rate Changed
The Head of the Emergency Department looked up at me: "If this patient survives, he will win back from the dead." To Van Tinh panicked: "Director, a few individual cases cannot represent the whole." The Head of the Emergency Department paid no attention to her and continued to flip through the pages. Co Thua stood up: "Director, today is not a medical record review session. Khuong Ninh's emotions are currently unstable, I suggest moving the meeting to another day." I looked at him: "Afraid of what?" He glared at me, his eyes full of warning: "Khuong Ninh, don't lose your last bit of dignity." There was a knock on the meeting room door. An old man wearing a gray Sun Yat Sen suit stood at the door, followed by two staff members. As soon as he saw him, Thieu Thanh Hai immediately stood up: "Luong Lao, why did you come here?" The old man did not look at the director, his eyes were fixed on the medicine box at my feet.
“I came to find Dr. Khuong.”
All sounds in the meeting room suddenly stopped. Co Thua frowned: "Do you know her?" The old man walked in, his voice was not loud but sharp: "This old life of mine was saved by her." The piece of paper in To Van Tinh's hand was crushed until it was wrinkled. Luong Lao looked at me: "Doctor Khuong, the province asked me why the hospital doctor in Van Linh has not been transferred back yet. I also want to know why." As soon as Luong Lao sat down, the atmosphere in the meeting room completely changed. Thieu Thanh Hai quickly ordered someone to pour tea, Trieu Khai Minh stood obsequiously next to him, his back bent much lower than before. Co Thua did not sit but still held on to the back of the chair: "Luong Lao, maybe you don't understand the specific situation of the hospital." Luong Lao raised his eyes and looked at him: "I only understand clearly that when the patient almost died on the mountain pass, who was the one carrying the medicine box and running for his life." My mother-in-law mumbled softly: "Is it terrible to save an old man?" Luong Lao put down the tea cup, the porcelain bottom hit the table with a not too loud click.
“Mrs. Tran, I heard that.”
My mother-in-law's face turned red to purple, and she hurriedly sat down on the chair. To Van Tinh quickly regained her composure, held a stack of documents and walked in front of Luong Lao: "Luong Lao, I am To Van Tinh. Ms. Khuong Ninh indeed has experience at the grassroots level, we all respect her. It's just that the position at the city hospital is limited, the hospital must consider comprehensively. I am willing to accept a re-evaluation from the beginning." Those were beautiful words again, like a blade wrapped in soft silk. Luong Lao did not accept her documents: "Where are you ranked?" To Van Tinh was stunned: "Tuesday." Luong Lao asked again: "Who is the first person?" She looked at me and fell silent. Liu Tieu Man stood outside the door and boldly continued: "Khuong Ninh." Luong Lao asked again: "Who is second?" Trieu Khai Minh replied: "Doctor Ha is at the district hospital, he has submitted a resignation letter." Luong Lao nodded: "So why does the third person sit in the position of the first person?" To Van Tinh's face turned pale as she walked to class: "Because I have a working background at city-level departments." I said: "In your work platform, how many pages were stolen from me?" She glared at me in shock. Co Thua growled softly: "Khuong Ninh." I took out a stack of photocopies from my canvas bag.
“Lesson The report analyzing emergency cases in remote areas that Dr. To published last year, of which there were seventeen cases, thirteen were from Van Linh medical station. The original medical record is currently at my place, and the patient's signature is also here. If you take it for use, have you asked my opinion?"
To Van Tinh moved her lips: "Those documents were given to me by Co Thua. I thought they were shared data from the hospital." Co Thua's face also became dark.
