Chapter 13
Chapter 13 — Late Love You
“You trust me.” Pho Canh Tham was extremely helpless. He hesitated and hesitated for a long time before speaking: "Luu Kha Y is not simply a representative of my company."
“But what else?” I calmly asked again.
Pho Canh Tham frowned slightly, as if he wanted to stop talking. After a long while, he spoke: "Her father is Uncle Luu, who used to drive for the Pho family before." I remember Uncle Luu. In the past, when Grandpa Pho was still alive, there was a trusted driver by his side, Uncle Luu. When Pho Canh Tham was 12 years old, Uncle Luu was driving the two of them to a relative's house when a car coming from the opposite direction lost control and rushed straight towards them. In the midst of a life and death moment, Uncle Luu resolutely used his body to shield Pho Canh Tham. Pho's uncle and grandfather died on the spot. It can be said that Pho Canh Tham's life was traded by Uncle Liu. I also heard that Uncle Luu's family has many children, and he is the only one who makes money. Normally, Pho's grandfather also takes care of his family. When Uncle Liu passed away, the children cried bitterly in front of the Pho family's gate. From then on, Pho Canh Tham seemed to be attacked, becoming less talkative and less smiling, with a calmness unbecoming of his age.
"Why haven't you signed yet? People are waiting impatiently outside." Linh Linh walked in holding a stack of documents, waving her hands in front of me.
I suddenly woke up: "No, I just remembered something old."
“You're not thinking about Pho Canh Tham, are you?”
“No, I'm thinking about Liu Keyi.”
“Why do you suddenly remember her while you're healing?” Linh Linh's face was immediately filled with hate.
“Nothing.” I chuckled softly, "Don't get me wrong, I don't remember her because of Pho Canh Tham. It's just... in short, this is related to your uncle."
Linh Linh's face stiffened for a moment, frowning silently. Uncle Luu is Linh Linh's biological uncle, her father's biological brother. Linh Linh's family situation is also considered to be quite well-off, but when Uncle Luu passed away, her father was not yet prosperous, so he could not lead Uncle Luu's family along. This is always a pain in Linh Linh and her father's hearts. She has said many times that if Uncle Luu did not have to make a living, he would not have worked as a driver for someone else's family, and in the end had to sacrifice his life to protect his boss's nephew. In the past, when Pho Canh Tham knew that Linh Linh's biological uncle was Uncle Luu, he let her go straight into the company. Even though I opened my mouth to ask for that position for Linh Linh, if I hadn't respected Uncle Luu, Pho Canh Tham might not have agreed.
“Pho Canh Tham said Liu Kha Y is Uncle Liu's daughter.”
“How is that possible!” Linh Linh screamed in surprise, "My cousin was 10 years old. Since my uncle died, she has been working as a hired laborer to make a living. How did she become a star? Furthermore, she doesn't look like my uncle at all!"
The more she talked, the more she couldn't accept this truth. Before I could say a few words of comfort, Pho Canh Tham's phone rang.
“Can you contact Linh Linh and ask her to come pick up Liu Kha Y's relatives?”
I immediately asked Linh Linh, she took my hand and went to the meeting place. Hotel VIP room. Luu Kha Y is sitting next to Pho Canh Tham with a pitiful and weak appearance. Those who know think they recognize relatives, those who don't know think Linh Linh and I are working together to bully her.
“You said you're my cousin?” Linh Linh crossed her arms across her chest, evaluated Luu Kha Y from top to bottom, "Not everyone with the surname Liu is my family member. What evidence do you have to prove that you are my uncle's biological daughter?"
Pho Canh Tham glanced at her and said: "Luu Kha Y carries your family's long life lock on her." I also know this, I heard that every child born in the Liu family has one. Luu Kha Y immediately took off the long life lock and placed it on the table, looking at Linh Linh: "Cousin, we are family, why don't you call me sister?"
