Chapter 26
Chapter 26 — Late Love You
After hearing my thoughts, Linh Linh showed understanding and her face finally softened.
"If you think so, then I support you unconditionally. But after coming back from the party, you must stay away from him."
I nodded in agreement, put the watch I sketched and designed myself and asked a diamond-encrusted craftsman to make it into the box. When I left, my father still felt sorry for the watch.
"Daughter, aren't you planning on giving this to me? I've been looking at it for a long time."
I smiled: "I'll design a new one for you another day. This style is so youthful and dynamic, just leave it to Pho Canh Tham." I carried the gift box to the Pho family's house, but unexpectedly, there was no one inside, only steaming hot plates of food on the table. Where is everyone? Are you playing cards upstairs? I guessed to myself and was about to go upstairs when there was an unusual noise in the kitchen, it sounded like a fight. I curiously walked over and saw Pho Canh Tham wearing a pink apron and busy in the kitchen. He is over 1m85 tall, wearing a tiny pink apron that looks funny like wearing a peach bib. Seeing me appear, he seemed very excited and ran to pull me.
“Go sit outside, the last dish is almost done.”
I was surprised, was pulled out, sat at the dining table and waited for ten minutes. Sure enough, Pho Canh Tham brought the last dish of rib soup to the table, looking at me like he was fighting for merit: "These are all your favorite dishes, sit down and eat." I refused to move my hands: "Are there just the two of us? Didn't you say they were all coming?"
"This year's birthday party I don't want to be that noisy anymore. I just want to quietly be with the person I like, eat some breakfast, eat cake, and then watch an interesting movie." Pho Canh Tham pushed the food towards me, his eyes complicated.
"From the moment I went to the market to buy the ingredients and started working, I asked the chef to teach me how to do it before so I could follow it. But after struggling for half a day, I realized how difficult it is to make a large table like this. Before, you repeated the same things every day, waiting at home for me..."
He sighed softly, his eyes filled with sadness: "I can hardly imagine what it would feel like when you were both sleepy and tired and saw me being cold towards you." But no matter how he feels, he will never respond. You're not me, you don't know what it's like to wait from dawn to night. The more he thought about it, the more he felt guilty and gave me the chopsticks.
“Taste my skills.” His chopsticks movement was extremely cautious.
I looked at him deeply, tasting every dish on the table. If it's not salty, it's bland, and nothing tastes right. He is definitely a beginner in the kitchen. Having learned methodically and being able to do it this far is already very good. I picked up my chopsticks and then put them down again. It was so salty that I had to drink mouthwash. Pho Canh Tham looked at me longingly: "How's it going? Does it taste good?" I didn't answer directly, just asked: "You prepared so many dishes, is there anything uncomfortable?"
“Back pain, so tired that I can't even straighten my waist.” He smiled and looked at me, "I don't know why you were so persistent every day before."
“It's all about enthusiasm.”
My four light words hit him so hard he couldn't keep up. My love is too humble. Because of misunderstandings and outside detractors, I became even more cautious as if walking on thin ice please him. People told me I didn't know what to do, so I immediately went to cooking school and immersed myself in the kitchen every day. The eldest lady with ten fingers without spring water has transformed into a true housewife. I never said a word of complaint, waited day after day without losing any of my feelings for him. If it weren't for Luu Kha Y's appearance to wake me up, I don't know how much longer I would have had to endure that torment. Being the young lady of the Pho family, Pho Canh Tham and his family have never been
