Chapter 12
Chapter 12 — Pregnant for 280 Days, I Used a Notebook to Reclaim My Whole Life
The smile on Sam Vu Vi's face stopped. But very fast. Back to the way it was again.
“Thua Trach will not.”
“He once said.”
“I'm different from you.”
“I only know how to hold out my hand and ask for money.”
“Might help him relax.”
Duong Thanh smiled coldly.
"Take the common property of husband and wife and relax."
“You really know how to enjoy yourself.”
Sam Vu Vi's eyes immediately cooled down.
“Common property?”
I continued.
“Income obtained after marriage.”
"Legal."
“It is the common property of husband and wife.”
“The money and gifts he gave you.”
“I have the right to request a recall.”
Sam Vu Vi's face finally changed. She instinctively tightened her grip on the phone.
“Are you threatening me?”
I said softly:
“Didn't you come to tell me to retreat?”
“I just wanted to tell you.”
“Before someone leaves.”
“All debts must be calculated clearly.”
Sam Vu Vi stared at me. The satisfaction in her eyes. Little by little it disappears.
“Giang Tri Dao.”
“Don't be so naive.”
“Thua Trach will not let you win.”
I gently stroked my belly.
“Then…”
“It remains to be seen whether he has that bravery or not.”
I was also surprised. When that sentence came out of my mouth. I'm always afraid of tearing things apart. I'm afraid my parents will worry. Fear of impact on children. Afraid that others will laugh at you. But until today. I suddenly understood. Something that really hurt me. It has never been about exposing someone else's face. Over and over again. I gave my own face. Let others trample on you. When Sam Vu Vi stood up. She intentionally hit the corner of the table. The coffee cup tilted. Coffee water splashed onto my sleeve. Duong Thanh immediately stood up.
“What are you doing?”
Sam Vu Vi looked at my stomach. The smile was chillingly cold.
“Don't let yourself get too tired.”
“Anyway…”
“My most valuable thing right now.”
“Only this baby remains.”
I raised my head to look at her.
“Thank you for reminding me.”
“The words you just said.”
“I will also save everything.”
Her expression immediately changed. I didn't look at her again. Duong Thanh helped me leave the cafe. Until I walked out of the shopping mall. A wind blew. I just discovered. My palms were wet with sweat. Duong Thanh's eyes turned red and he asked me:
“Are you okay?”
I nodded.
“You really scared me just now.”
I smiled softly.
“I was also scared by myself.”
On the way back. Duong Thanh sent the recording to Tham Lam. Tham Lam quickly responded.
“Keep the original.”
“Back up three copies.”
“Don't meet her alone anymore.”
“She has provided more than enough information.”
Look at those messages. The rock that weighed heavily on my heart also fell down. When I got home. Co Thua Trach was already sitting in the living room. He didn't turn on the TV. Don't look at your phone either. Just sitting there. His face was gloomy as if it was about to rain. While I was changing shoes. He spoke up.
“Did you meet Sam Vu Vi today?”
My fingertips stopped. Then calmly put the shoes in the closet. Co Thua Trach immediately stood up.
“Giang Tri Dao.”
“Stop pretending.”
I raised my head to look at him.
“Did she tell you?”
His eyes were as cold as knives.
“What did you say to her?”
I put my bag down.
“What are you afraid I will say?”
Co Thua Trach walked in front of me.
“I'm pregnant.”
"Do you have to make this house so miserable that the chickens and dogs will not be at peace?"
I looked at him ta. Slowly ask each word.
“This family is not at peace…”
“It's because I went to see her.”
“Or is it because you brought her into our marriage?”
His facial muscles twitched slightly.
“The relationship between you and her is not what I thought.”
“So what is it?”
He was silent. I smiled softly.
“If you can't explain it.”
“Then don't explain anymore.”
Co Thua Trach took a deep breath. As if trying to suppress anger.
“My mother will move here tomorrow.”
I frowned. He replied:
“My mood is unstable right now.”
“Need someone to take care of you.”
I looked at his face. The coldness spread little by little throughout the bottom of my heart.
“It's taking care of you…”
“Or watch out for me?”
Co Thua Trach did not answer. Just coldly threw back a sentence.
“Starting tomorrow.”
“You should go out less.”
Nine o'clock the next morning. Ngo Phuong Cam has arrived. She was dragging a large suitcase. Just walked in the door. The first question she asked. Not my health.
“Did you go see that woman yesterday?”
I stood next to the mysterious mandarin. One hand is still on the side.
“Did Thua Trach tell mom?”
Ngo Phuong Cam changes shoes. The facial expression is very unsightly.
“Don't care who says it.”
"A pregnant woman still runs out to meet her husband's lover."
“What else can you do?”
I didn't reply. She pushed the suitcase to the guest room door. Then turned his head to look at me.
“From today.”
“Mom will be here.”
"About your prenatal check-ups, food, and rest."
“Mom will arrange it.”
“What about Thua Trach?”
“He goes to work to make money.”
Ngo Phuong Cam replied naturally.
“Don't bother him with these trivial matters.”
I said softly:
“It's about the baby's big story.”
“In everyone's eyes, it's just a trivial matter.”
Her expression immediately darkened.
