Chapter 23
Chapter 23 — Mother-in-law Tests Daughter-in-law's Heart
“You finally agreed to meet your mother?” Tran Nghien stopped two steps away from her. The security guard and the people at the nurse's station were all looking this way. "Put the bottle down." Ton Que Phan hugged the bottle tightly in his arms. "Are you scared?" "Aren't you asking to sue mom?" "Aren't you asking to call the police to arrest mom?" Tran Nghien looked at her. "This is a hospital." "If you want to make a fuss, there's a police station out there." Ton Que Phan seemed to have been stabbed in the heart and suddenly stood up. "Tran Nghien, how can you be so cruel?" "I'm your mother." "Even if I did something wrong, it was because of this house." "He's such an innocent person that he makes me angry every day. As a mother-in-law, I can't even touch him." "I just want him to stop scaring people about his allergies, why is he a criminal?" Tran Nghien's eyes darkened little by little. "She's still lying on the bed right now. hospital bed.” “The doctor said that if there was any more excitement, the baby might not be able to keep it.” Ton Gui Phan's lips trembled. But very quickly, she raised her voice again: "Stop scaring me with the baby." "I'm also worried about you." "That's my real grandchild." Tran Nghien stared at her: "If my mother was worried about me, she wouldn't have stood in front of the hospital room door and cursed the baby in her womb." People around her started to turn and look. Ton Que Phan's face turned red. "At that time, I was just angry." "He pressured me to this extent, so what if I said a few words?" "You've lived to this age, been kicked out of the hospital room by your daughter-in-law, and asked by your son to call a lawyer, are you not feeling sorry for yourself?" Tran Nghien suddenly felt ridiculous. Ninh Uyen almost didn't get out of the emergency room. Ton Que Phan is still here, counting how much he feels sorry for himself. He took a step forward, lowering his voice very low: "Mom, until now, have you asked Ninh Uyen if she is in pain?" Ton Que Phan was stunned. She opened her mouth, but could not answer. Tran Nghien continued to ask: "Did you ask her if she was scared?" "Did you ask how the baby was?" "Did you come to the hospital to apologize, or did you want everyone to see how unfilial she was to you?" Ton Que Phan's hand holding the bottle gradually tightened. "Of course I wanted to apologize." "Then why did you bring someone with you to record a video?" "Mom..." "Why were you screaming loudly at the nurse's station?" "Why do you know?" Clearly she couldn't stand the excitement, so she screamed her name?" Each sentence and each word seemed to strip away Ton Que Phan's disguise. Tears welled up in her eyes again. "I just want to see her once." "She didn't let me see her, I felt uncomfortable in my heart." Tran Nghien looked at her tears, without the slightest stir in her heart. "I didn't want to see her." "I wanted her to bow her head." Ton Que Phan's face was pale. The next second, she suddenly brought the small bottle to her mouth. "Okay." "Then I'll die for you to see." The entire emergency room echoed with screams. Security immediately rushed over. Tran Nghien was quicker and grabbed Ton Que Phan's wrist tightly. The bottle fell to the ground, rolled a few times, and a few white pills fell out. The nurse panicked and picked it up to take a look. "It's a medicine to lower blood pressure." "It's not a poison." Ton Que Phan was forced to sit down on a chair by the security guard. His crying choked for a moment, with only a look of humiliation on his face. Tran Nghien bowed his head and looked at the drugs on the ground. At that moment, he felt that even disappointment was a waste. Ton Que Phan was still about to cry and complain: "Mom just wanted to scare you a little." "Who told you to keep forcing me to this step?" Tran Nghien bent down to pick up the bottle and put it on the nurse's counter. "Can you help me take notes?"
