Chapter 10
Chapter 10 — I Have Conceded Enough
“It's nine o'clock meeting.”
I glanced at the clock.
“You have twenty minutes left.”
It stood frozen in place, not moving. The eldest brother came in from outside. Holding the vest in his hand, his expression was gloomy.
“Why haven't you changed yet?”
“I have other things to do today.”
“Cancel it.”
“No way.”
“Is there anything more important than the company?”
“My job.”
The eldest brother smirked.
“After leaving Ta Thi, what can I do?”
I didn't answer. He walked to the dining table and picked up the USB.
“Go to the company with me.”
“Tinh Mien first time participating in the project, I finished the handover before leaving.”
“The handover is complete.”
“It doesn't understand.”
“That proves it's not suitable for this position.”
Tears fell from Hua Tinh Mien's eyes.
“Big brother, I'm too stupid.”
"It's only natural that you don't want to teach me."
The eldest brother's face immediately darkened.
“Ta Tri Vi.”
“Don't take your dissatisfaction with your family out on your work.”
"There was a problem with the project, and the one who suffered was the Ta family."
“This is not mine.”
As soon as he finished speaking, the eldest brother's face stiffened. My father just walked down the stairs. The footsteps also stopped. Mother stood behind him. No one spoke in the dining room. Hua Tinh Mien didn't seem to expect that I would say it so bluntly. I put down the coffee cup.
“Previously, I was the design team leader. If the project had problems, I was responsible.”
"Now Hua Tinh Mien is the one in charge."
“She should be the one responsible.”
“If you want to promote her, you must allow her to bear the consequences.”
The eldest brother stared at me.
“I did that on purpose.”
“What on purpose?”
"I know he has no experience, so he suddenly resigned."
“My resignation letter was submitted three months ago.”
“He just decided to join the design department last night.”
“You can't blame me for times like that.”
Dad walked over and sat in the chair.
“Tri Vi.”
“You can resign.”
“But this project must be completed.”
“Why?”
“Because the name of the collection is in my name.”
“Once completed, you can change to Hua Tinh Mien.”
Dad's face is completely unsightly.
“Do you insist on calculating these things in detail?”
“Yes.”
“It's just a name.”
“So why don't you keep my name?”
Dad was speechless. Hua Tinh Mien immediately interjected:
“Sister, I don't need to put my name on it.”
“The project is still yours.”
“I just want to join in.”
“Then you become an assistant.”
His face turned pale. The elder shouted:
“That's enough.”
"Tinh Mien is the daughter of the Ta family, entering the design room as an assistant, what will outsiders think?"
I burst out laughing.
“What outsiders think is very important.”
“And it doesn't matter what I think.”
“Ta Tri Vi!”
“I'm done eating.”
I stood up, picked up the toolbox. Mom quickly asked:
“Where are you going?”
“Go to work.”
"You resigned, where did you get your job?"
I did not answer. Just as he walked to the mysterious entrance, the phone rang. It's a message from To Yen Thu. The person who commissioned the restoration project arrived at the studio earlier than expected. I was preparing to go out when Hua Tinh Mien suddenly rushed towards me.
“Sister.”
She pulled my toolbox.
"You can't go."
I bowed my head and looked at his hand.
“Let go.”
“I'll go to the company with you first.”
“I really won't go.”
“My brother has given me the project, if today If there's anything wrong with the meeting, everyone will laugh at me."
“That's your problem.”
His tears kept falling.
“But this collection was originally prepared for the wedding of you and Mr. Tram Le.”
I raised my eyes.
“So it has to be done by you.”
It finally freaked out.
“Did you deliberately want to see me humiliated?”
“No.”
“Then why don't you help me?”
“Because I don't like it.”
Five short words. Hua Tinh Mien was stunned. The eldest brother walked quickly.
“Ta Tri Vi, now you don't even have the most basic sense of responsibility anymore?”
