Chapter 1
Chapter 1 — Queen of the Zombie Picky Eaters
I am a zombie, currently shunned by my fellow humans. They said my performance was not up to standard. Because I'm a principled zombie. I only bite men who are six feet tall or taller. The disease broke out globally. I was unlucky enough to be one of the first infected people. After eating all the snacks in the house, I went out to find that the whole city had turned into ruins. All over the streets are my kind. When you see a person, you rush in. When you see a living thing, you bite. My teeth also itch. I was so hungry that it felt like someone was rubbing sandpaper back and forth in my stomach. But I still have brains. This is very troublesome. Other zombies only know how to growl, but I am different, I know how to criticize. To avoid being seen as different and torn apart by my fellow humans, I could only stagger along with them. One time, I followed the trend and bit a man. As soon as I bit down, I spit it out.
“What are you doing?” The man hugged his arm and angrily scolded me.
“Phew, only one meter seven.”
“This guy is one meter eight tall.”
“I saw your shoe inserts.”
He was so angry that he wanted to hit me. Unfortunately, he didn't have time to act. He also turns into a zombie. From then on, every day he passed me, he had to punch me in the stomach. What a petty thing. After that, I was expelled by the zombies. The reason is also very simple. In preparation for attacking the human base, the undead king publicly broke off one of his fingers. The other zombies also followed suit. I was the only one who didn't move. The finger is still healing, wouldn't it be better to keep it to grab a handsome guy? They threw me down from the third floor of the shopping center. I fell on a pile of broken glass, my head turned completely to my shoulder. Half a minute later, I used my hand to straighten my head and sat up and scolded him. No one understands. I crawled into a wedding dress shop that had been destroyed and found a white dress that was still quite clean. As soon as I put it on, I heard the sound of leather shoes breaking the glass behind me. I turned my head and saw a man. Very high. Broad shoulders, long legs, wearing dark green combat gear, with a fresh wound on his cheek. The smell of blood carried by the wind made my teeth soft. I know him. The commander of the human base, Tham Bin. Every time zombies attacked the city, he stood on the city wall, holding binoculars and scanning us, like he was choosing vegetables at the market. Today, vegetables are delivered to your door. I rushed forward, hugged his waist, opened my mouth to bite his neck. He grabbed the back of my shirt with one hand, throwing me to the ground. I crawled up and continued to rush forward.
“Don't play with it.”
“Who is against you? I am hungry.”
He tore a strip of fabric from the cuff, held my hand tightly and covered my mouth. I can't bare my teeth anymore. He squatted in front of me, using the barrel of the gun to lift my chin.
“Can talk?”
I gurgled twice.
"I'll take it off, you answer the question."
I nodded. He added:
“Bite me again, I'll knock out your teeth.”
Who can refuse a handsome man who is one meter nine tall and also knows how to threaten others?
“Name.”
“Beauty.”
Tham Tan glanced at me, used the barrel of the gun to gently tap my teeth.
“Say it again.”
“Khuong Dao.”
“What did you do before you got sick?”
“Streamer mukbang.” I seriously supplement Sung: "Specializes in eating the type of food that handsome men like to watch."
He did not respond.
“How many people have you bitten?”
“Not much.”
Men taller than one meter eight are already rare, and being both handsome and not liking to run are even rarer. Tham Tan grabbed my face and forced me to open my mouth. He examined my teeth like he was examining a substandard knife. I tried not to bite his finger. Mainly because he couldn't fight back.
“Why are you out alone?”
I sat up straight, trying to make myself look more noble.
“I couldn't stand the fact that they murdered innocent people, so I proactively left that undead organization that had such lowly pleasures.”
Tham Tan said:
“You were kicked out.”
I coughed loudly. He picked me up and walked towards the base. I panicked:
“Where are you taking me?”
“Experimental area.”
"Are you humans all that perverted? When you see a pretty female zombie, do you want to cut it into slices?"
“She knows how to talk, she knows how to think, and she knows how to choose who to bite.”
“The last thing that doesn't count is a defect.”
He stopped walking. Under the base's walls, a group of soldiers raised their guns and pointed them at me. Someone shouted:
“Captain Tham, zombies can't get in.”
I immediately hid behind Tham Tan. Tham Tan says:
“She is useful.”
A woman wearing a white blouse stepped out, her eyes brighter than a surgical knife.
"Still alive? Can you talk?"
I replied:
“Dead, thank you.”
She took out a needle. I turned around to run, but was grabbed back by Tham Tan. The person wearing the blouse smiled:
"I'm Professor Lam, just taking a little blood."
“How much?”
“A tube.”
She took six tubes from me. I looked at the blood tray and painfully condemned:
“You humans do not keep your trust.”
Tham Tan threw me a bag of frozen plasma.
“Compensation.”
I held the blood bag and smelled it, with a disgusted look on my face.
“How high?”
\deer?"
“The owner of this blood.”
Professor Lam was stunned. Tham Tan says:
“One meter eight three.”
I bit the blood bag and drank. Taste normal. I was about to say something negative when someone suddenly burst in outside the laboratory.
“Captain Tham, there is someone infected in the inner city.”
All the gun muzzles immediately turned towards me. I still had the blood bag in my mouth. Very good. As soon as I entered the base, I became the one to bear the blame. The infected person is the son of the logistics captain. Eighteen years old, lying in an isolation room, with a row of tooth marks on his arm. The logistics captain, surnamed Trieu, had the layer of fat on his face vibrating rhythmically. He pointed at me and scolded:
"That's it! This zombie entered the base in less than half an hour, something happened to my son!"
I said:
“Your son is one meter seventy-two inches tall.”
Captain Trieu was stunned.
“What nonsense are you talking about?”
“I don't bite people under six feet.”
Outside the isolation room, a soldier couldn't help but bowed his head and coughed. Captain Trieu's face was as red as pig liver.
"Can you believe what a zombie says? Tham Tan, you brought this thing here, do you want to kill the whole base?"
Tham Tan looked at me.
“Why do you bite?”
“No.”
“Evidence.”
I raised my hands.
"I am tied up by you, and my mouth is also gagged. If you insist that I can bite people from afar, then I suggest you build an altar to worship me."
