The nurse was startled and reached out to stop him.

“What are you doing? The wound hasn't stabilized yet.”

Co Han Chau didn't care, his bare feet kicked the ground, and he staggered towards the window. The stomach area sent tearing pain, every step felt like someone was using a knife to dig deep inside. Hands clinging to the window frame, whole body almost hanging on the glass. Below is the parking lot, with a few cars parked there, the streetlights cast a cold white light. There was no sign of the black jacket. There is no sound of high heels. Nothing. Co Han Chau's forehead pressed against the cold glass, his exhaled breath covered the glass with a layer of mist. The room door was pushed open. The person who walked in was his special assistant Lam Vien, his suit was stained with rainwater, his face pale and gray.

“The late general.”

Lam Vien stood at the door, his lips moving, as if he didn't know how to open his mouth. Co Han Chau turned around and looked at him.

“Say it.”

“The Co... is gone.”

Lam Vien's voice was very low, as if he was afraid that the hospital room next door would hear him.

“Jane Financial Group completed the final handover procedures at three o'clock this morning, all core assets have been transferred, all accounts in your name have been frozen.”

“Including overseas?”

“Including overseas, Switzerland is also frozen.”

Co Han Chau's back gradually slid along the window frame, finally the whole person sat down on the ground. Lam Vien took a step forward.

"Mr. Gu, you now..."

Co Han Chau suddenly laughed. The sound squeezed out from his throat, soft and broken, sounded like crying. He lowered his head, his shoulders shaking.

“It's her debt.”

His voice was so hoarse it was almost inaudible.

“It's all her debt.”

Lam Vien stood rooted to the spot, his hands hanging at his side, clenched and then let go. He followed Co Han Chau for eight years, and this was the first time he didn't know what to say. Co Han Chau used his hands to hold the ground and slowly stood up, the gauze bandage on his abdomen was oozing out a patch of dark red blood. He clung to the wall and inched his way to the edge of the bed, buttoning up the patient's shirt.

“Fill me with discharge procedures.”

“Your wound is not yet…”

“Go through hospital discharge procedures.”

Lam Vien gritted his teeth, turned around and walked out. Co Han Chau sat on the edge of the bed, bowed her head and looked at her hands. Ten fingers spread out and then closed again, but couldn't grasp anything. The company is gone, the money is gone, she's gone too. It's all gone. He stood up, the moment his bare feet stepped on the hallway floor, the white tiles were so cold that his toes went numb. He doesn't know where she is. But he has to find her. Even if he had to crawl, he had to crawl in front of her.

Chapter 20 Three days later. In the busiest central area of Bac Thanh (CBD), Co Thi Group building. Co Han Chau stood on the other side of the street, looking up. The giant LED sign on the rooftop of the building has been changed, the previous four letters "Co Thi Group" are no longer there, replaced by a silver-white letter "J". He was still wearing the hospital's hospital clothes, and wearing an old shirt that Lam Vien left behind. The gauze bandage on the abdomen was soaked in three layers of blood, sticking tightly to the skin and stretching painfully throbbing. The wind blew in, he shivered, clenched his fists and walked across the street. In front of the revolving door stood two security guards, both with strange faces. Co Han Chau walked to the door, the security guard leaned over to stop him.

“Sir, please present your employee card.”

Co Han Chau looked at that young face, this position was old Chau's three days ago, seeing him he would bow ninety degrees and shout "Hello, Mr. Co".

“I am Co Han Chau.”
