After the wedding, Doan and Quang Duy spent a week on their honeymoon, a rare time for the two to put aside all their busy work and just focus on enjoying their private moments together. They chose a peaceful sea far from the city, where no one knew their story, so they could truly relax and enjoy rare freedom.

"It feels really strange," Doan said, as the two were walking on a deserted beach one late afternoon, watching the waves gently lap against the sand. "For the first time in a long time, I don't have to think about any work."

"Me too," Quang Duy replied, holding her hand tightly, enjoying the rare feeling of peace. "But I think, because we know how to appreciate and enjoy quiet moments like this, we will have enough energy to continue pursuing meaningful things when we return."

The days at the beach passed gently and peacefully, with mornings together welcoming the sunrise, afternoons walking along the beach, and evenings sitting together watching the stars, sharing plans and dreams for the future that the two of them built together.

Returning from their honeymoon, the two quickly got back to their daily routine, but with a new, more energetic spirit. Doan continues to run the Vinh Xuan shop and the growing ao dai sewing class, while Quang Duy focuses his efforts on expanding conservation consulting projects in many other localities.

"The company just received a new project, in a brocade weaving village in the northern mountains," Quang Duy shared one evening, when the two of them prepared dinner together in the small house they had just moved into after the wedding, not far from the Vinh Xuan shop so that Doan could still easily go back and forth to take care of the family business.

"Sounds interesting," Doan replied, her eyes lighting up with excitement. "I really want to have the opportunity to visit and learn more about their traditional brocade weaving."

"I will arrange for you to participate in the initial consultation phase," Quang Duy replied, smiling at his wife's enthusiasm. "Your experience in building cultural experience models will definitely be very useful for this project."

Doan and Quang Duy's married life, although still busy with work, is always filled with mutual understanding and respect that the two have built together throughout their journey of love. They still maintain the rule of setting aside one evening a week for each other, no work, no phones, only sincere conversations, precious moments of connection.

Mrs. Xuan, although her health is getting weaker with age, Doan still regularly takes her to visit the couple's new house and enjoy cozy family meals. "I'm very happy to see you happy like this," she said one evening, while watching Doan and Quang Duy prepare dinner together in a small kitchen filled with laughter. "This is exactly what I've wished for you, since you were a child."

"I have this happiness thanks to what you taught and passed on to me, grandmother," Doan replied, sitting down next to his grandmother, holding her hands that were wrinkled over the years. "I will always try to live worthy of the values that you have worked so hard to preserve."

A few weeks after returning to normal life, Doan received unexpected good news during a routine medical checkup — she was pregnant with her first child. That news made the whole family burst into happiness, especially Mrs. Xuan, who could not hide her tears of joy when she learned that she was about to become a great-grandmother.

"This is the best thing I can hope for at this age," Ms. Xuan said, her eyes sparkling with happiness as Doan announced the news to the whole family during a reunion meal. "She hopes to live a long time, so she can hold her great-grandchild and tell him the story of her whole family."

Quang Duy, when he heard the news, could not hide his emotions and extreme happiness. He hugged Doan tightly, whispering words of love and promises about a warm family future that the two of them would build together for their soon-to-be-born child - a new generation that will continue to be raised amid the precious traditional values of Hoai Xuan ancient street, amidst the complete love of an entire family and a community always willing to protect and love.

The good news about Doan's pregnancy quickly spread throughout the street, making the atmosphere at Vinh Xuan shop even more bustling and warm. Bich Ngan and Thanh Truc took turns taking care and paying attention to every little thing, not letting Doan have to do heavy work in the garment factory.

"Just let us take care of the heavy lifting," Bich Ngan said, resolutely taking the large pieces of cloth that Doan intended to carry away himself. "You just need to focus on the design and instruction stages."

Doan smiled at his student's thoughtful attention. "Thank you, but I'm still very healthy, no need to worry too much."

"The doctor told me to," Thanh Truc interjected, her voice unusually serious. "The first three months are the most important period, you have to be careful."

Looking at the sincere concern of both students, Doan felt more deeply than ever that he was not simply a vocational teacher for them, but had become a cohesive part like sisters in a big family, where everyone is willing to care for and protect each other.

Quang Duy also adjusted his work schedule, trying to spend more time at home, accompanying his wife through each important stage of pregnancy. He personally learned about appropriate nutrition, accompanied Doan to each regular prenatal check-up, and did not miss any important moments in the journey of welcoming a new member of the family.

"I think we should start preparing the baby's room," Quang Duy said one evening, as the two of them looked through interior designs for the small room next to the master bedroom. "What style do you want your child's room to be?"

"I want it to be both modern and a bit traditional," Doan replied, placing his hand gently on his stomach with affectionate eyes. "Perhaps, a few small lotus flower motifs, so that your child can always feel the connection to the family's heritage from the very first days of life."

"I think that's a great idea," Quang Duy replied, wrapping his arms around her from behind, his hand gently resting on her stomach. "I want my children to grow up in an environment that is both loved and cared for, and imbued with the cultural values that our whole family has worked hard to preserve."

A few weeks later, when the pregnancy entered the fourth month, Doan and Quang Duy decided to organize a small trip to the pottery village, combining work to check the project progress and a relaxing trip before the pregnancy entered a more serious stage. Mr. Sau Than and the whole village welcomed them with warmth and warmth like welcoming relatives back.

"Are you pregnant?" Mr. Sau Than asked, his eyes lit up with joy when he saw Doan's slightly protruding belly. "This is really great news. Let me give you a small gift."

He brought out a small wind chime made of ceramic, hand-fired with delicate patterns. "The ancients often said that the sound of wind chimes will bring peace and luck to the child in the mother's womb," he explained, handing Doan that meaningful gift.

Doan was moved to receive the gift, unable to hide his emotions at the old artist's sincerity. “Thank you very much,” she said. "I will hang it in my room, so that I can always feel the warm affection from my friends in this pottery village."

That short trip further strengthened Doan and Quang Duy's belief in the path they are pursuing together - not just a business, but a mission to connect, nurture traditional cultural values, spread love between different communities, and now, that mission will continue to be passed on to the next generation of their own family.

On the way back to the city, Doan leaned her head on Quang Duy's shoulder, feeling the baby in her belly stir slightly for the first time that she could clearly feel. "Honey, I think I just kicked," she exclaimed excitedly, grabbing his hand and placing it on her belly.

Quang Duy waited for a moment, and when he felt that gentle movement, his eyes lit up with happiness that couldn't be expressed in words. "That's our child greeting Mom and Dad," he said, his voice choked with emotion. The two sat quietly together in the car, enjoying that magical moment, feeling more clearly than ever the journey of parenthood that was gradually approaching, bringing with it so much hope and boundless love for the little creature growing up every day.
