Chapter 9 — Mistakes Cannot Be Compensated

Before, when my father was in emergency, I also asked Luc Hoai Xuyen.

“Can you go home?”

I closed the document.

“The night something happened to my father, do you really have no way to go home?”

Luc Hoai Xuyen looked out the window.

“I already explained.”

“Doctor Trieu said that you can apply for an emergency consultation, and you can also arrange for your team to receive it in advance.”

“I can guide you from a distance.”

“So I didn't apply.”

I picked up the glass of water on the table.
